Crimson Seperation

Arjun paced back and forth in his cabin, desperately checking his phone every second, waiting for any information.

He was in his office while his assistant Kartik was working on the laptop, searching for the information in every possible way.

Suddenly, Arjun's phone rang catching the attention of both of them. He picked up the phone instantly.

"Sir, ma'am is going to some unusual location. It's not the way of your mansion. Also, she sent your driver back." One of his men informed him.

"Follow her wherever she goes at every cost." Arjun ordered hurriedly before hanging up the call.

"Kartik, track his location. We have to reach on time." Arjun commanded in a hurried tone. Kartik nodded understanding whose location he has to track.

Arjun along with Kartik and his men left the office, following the tracked location.

"Please, stay safe. Please, stay safe. Please, stay safe." Arjun chanted in his mind desperately.

Kartik looked at his boss bewildered but managed to keep his expression neutral. This was the first time he was seeing Arjun so desperate, losing his calm.

As soon as they reached the location, Arjun dashed out of the car. He looked around.

It was a forest, the forest Nandini mentioned. It was the forest that changed Nandini's life, her identity.

Arjun's heart raced in anticipation. He looked around but Nandini was nowhere to be seen. He walked here and there searching for her.

He reached the cliff from where Nandini jumped years ago. He stared at the cliff, his jaw was clenched, beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

Suddenly, he heard a clap from behind. He turned around and found a man standing there with amused expression.

His eyes widened as he recognised the man. Arjun had researched about him after Nandini's confession. He was Alfonso Russo.

Arjun's blood boiled, anger surged through his veins. He wanted to rip off Alfonso's head at that moment. His hands clenched into fists, his knuckles turned white by the tightness.

"Finally, you came. I was waiting for you. My butterfly completed her work successfully." Alfonso's spoke, his voice laced with mockery.

Arjun's brows furrowed. What did he mean by his butterfly succesfully completed her work?

"I will rip off that head of yours, bastard! Don't you dare call her butterfly!" Arjun exclaimed making Alfonso chuckle.

"Don't worry. You won't be alive long enough to hear me call her butterfly." Alfonso said with a smirk.

Arjun marched towards Alfonso and punched his jaw. Arjun and Alfonso started hitting each other mercilessly.

Suddenly, Alfonso's men surrounded the area. A fierce battle started between Arjun's and Alfonso's men.

Arjun's men overpowered Alfonso's men. Arjun also overpowered Alfonso and took out his gun pointing at Alfonso.

He was about to pull the trigger when a familiar voice was heard.

"Don't you dare pull the trigger, Mr. Arjun Singh Khurana!" A feminine voice warned, making Arjun's heart race.

Arjun turned around to face the person who interuppted him. His world stopped, his eyes widened in disbelief as he saw Nandini standing near the cliff with her gun pointed at his direction.

She was pointing the gun at the man she loved more than anything, the man for whom she was ready to trade her life. What circumstances led her to point her gun at the man whose mere scratches made her eyes well up with tears?
