Chapter 16: Return

Mia's pov:

I'm stood in shock, the last person I expected to knock at the door was Autumn, little Autumn well I'll be damned. "Come in" I step aside and let her in closing the door behind us "Reece there's someone I know you'd love to see here" I tell him hiding Aut behind me "Mia who is it? what's wrong?" I step aside revealing his little sister "omg, Aut, omg" tears heavily flowing down his face, "Autumn go and sit down make yourself comfortable I'll go make us all a hot chocolate, the Mia way that you used to love" she just looks with a small and nods.

I walk to the kitchen flicking the kettle on while grabbing cups, char must have followed in behind me "Mia how you feeling?" She asks, I don't look at her, if I look at her I'm going to breakdown "I'm okay char don't worry" I lie, I'm not okay, I find out my best friend was made to fake his own death, I lost my little sister and now she's back. There's too many emotions rushing through my body, I can't handle them, I don't know how to handle them. Char turns me around and pulls me into her embrace "Mia it's okay, I know you're not okay I'm here, I've got you" she whispers in my ear, silent tears run down my face, I move back and just look at char, she wipes my face with her palm with a small smile.

Once the drinks were done Charlotte helps me carry them and hands them out, "What are you doing here Aut?" Reece asks "I came to see you big brother, I watched Josh carry you out I had to make sure it was really you." She starts to explain. "Wait what, how did you watch me carry him out?" Josh asks from the door way. "Delilah hasn't been acting right in school I've noticed her on her phone constantly with a sinister smile playing on her face and I was in the bathroom on lunch a while back and I hear her on the phone, I couldn't make out what the other person was saying but when she ended the call she ended it with a goodbye Roger, I knew it had to be father so I've been watching her the past couple of months" she pauses to drink some of her drink.

"So I've been following from a distance, her every interaction with father, around school, I managed to get her number and track her location and every night she goes to see father. There was nothing out the ordinary between those weeks that's when I see you Josh coming out with Reece and Mia coming out with a brunette girl, I called Liam, he's my boyfriend and we followed yous here, I had to know why my father faked your death." Autumn finish's letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding in and I noticed she now had a soft expression on her face.

No one's pov:

The minute Autumn finished explaining the group sat quiet taking everything in, just feeling blessed they have each other back, until a pounding on the door breaks the silence. Not just any pounding an angry pounding, for a minute you'd think the door was about to broken down.
