Mia was still holding Charlotte close hearing the sirens coming down the street "hang on sweetheart their hear now their coming, your gonna be fine" between sobs and applying more pressure. Paramedics rush through the front door and over to Charlotte who's body is still cold and limp in Mia's arms, they check her over quickly "Pulse it's faint but it's there" one paramedic shouts before putting Charlotte on gurney to the ambulance. "Which one of yous will be riding with us?" The paramedic questions, "that will be me I'm her girlfriend" answers the distraught redhead.
The ambulance screeches off towards the hospital Mia not letting go of her lovers hand, what felt like a forever ambulance ride they arrived to the hospital rushing Charlotte straight into surgery. Mia left alone in the waiting area sobbing, her ears ringing she couldn't stand the fact that her girlfriend was all alone in the operating room all because of Roger and his little puppet. She was sat leaning against the wall, not even functioning, she didn't even feel a hand on her shoulder until she heard a familiar voice, "oh my love, she will be okay." Marjorie reassured her, Josh must have called her and let her know what had happened. She just wished she was okay.
Twenty minutes later the rest of them arrived Autumn got taken to a side room she needed stitches in her arm. "Mia, he's not dead" Reece spoke up "what do you mean he's not fucking dead Reece he was lying in a pool of his own blood?" The distraught redhead asked "paramedics went to check him he had a pulse, they've brought him in to go for surgery the police are waiting for statements" he explained.
One by one they were pulled in to a side room to give their statement, Mia being the first one and Josh being the last for his statement. Half an hour and a nurse walks out to the waiting area "Anyone here for Charlotte Finch?" The nurse asks "We are but Mia is her girlfriend" Josh spoke out, "she's out of surgery, she has lost a lot of blood but we've had to put her in a medical induced coma, her body needs to heal but you can see her if you would all like?" The blonde asked getting nods for response.
The nurse lead the group to charlottes room explaining that it could take days, weeks or months to be brought out of the coma. As the walked into the room Mia rushed over giving her sweetheart small kisses over face "I love you char, please don't leave me" she whispered in her ear.
I'm so sorry Mia I love you too, Charlotte heard every word Mia is saying to her, she wished she could just open her eyes and tell her she wants to be fine, she was in so much pain and needed to heal.
