El arrived in Tairie

I don't know about this afterlife. I don't know that I like it. I think I am being punished but I can't be sure. I love things about this place. I love having magic! I can comb my hair and brush my teeth just by thinking about it! Glowing green and gold sparkles surround me and suddenly I am not smelly and sweaty anymore! I mean it doesn't get any better than that! Except the first thing that happened to me here is that some guy snuck into my house and tried to kill me. He managed to kill a kid that turned out to be my mom.

I tried to save her. I was doing CPR on her when this huge guy glowing in green and gold with a glowing dragon tattoo on his chest just pulled me away. He did some magic on me and that was my intro in this world. It was a bit better after. My grandma figured me out fairly quickly. She did warn me not to tell anyone that I am reincarnate or that I have some cheat skills. Apparently people don't have auto-gps in a magical HUD. You'd think in a magical world magical things would be no big deal.

I have to get used to this place I guess. It's scary and brutal but I hear there's Elves in this world. Like cool Elves, not little Santa Claus Elves. Not Dobby, I'm still traumatized by what happened to that poor elf!

It was easier when Grandma was around. She's gone. My first friend in this world wasn't around long enough. I feel alone and abandoned. But that's a familiar feeling. I should have stayed home. I guess it doesn't matter. I want to experience this world. I promised myself I would live a life of peace and leisure this time around. My dad asked me what I wanted for my tenth birthday.  

I asked him to take me to Alderdell. It's been a year since Grandma died and I have done what Grandma asked me. I have behaved like the absolute most perfect lady. I learned embroidery and sewing. I learned calligraphy and drawing. I helped with my baby brother. I quietly endured every crap rule of this stupid country. He has no excuse to deny me. And I asked in front of my Grandpa to make sure he wouldn't be able to say no. I am going to see Alderdell Tower finally! I can't wait!
