I wish I were a poet.
I wish I were a painter.
I wish I at least had a dang camera!!!
Andoria - I have never experienced a place so full of beauty and life. It is a pure and mystical place. The city wasn't built, it was grown! Elves are so attuned to the magic of the world that they can meld into their environment. They work with nature rather than try to force it to their will. The results are nothing like I could ever accurately describe.
I spent the most magical day yesterday acclimating to the castle. They threw a feast in the castle to welcome the little envoy. That's me! My title is officially the Little Envoy! I laughed way too hard at this! But I guess it makes sense that I am a little envoy. I am only 107 years old when you factor in my previous life years and my current ones.
The average Elf is several thousand years old. The are ageless and immortal to a degree. They are immune to disease and can go weeks without food and not suffer. They can choose to "die" by ascending to the goddess. Which means they release their mortal bodies and become pure magic. But they can be killed by the right weapon and strong enough opponent. Lots of Elves died on the day of the Cataclysm. They were so shocked and traumatized by all the violent deaths that they stopped having babies and falling in love.
I learned today that Elves don't get romantically involved with the mortal races. It takes an Elf about 50 to 100 years to fall in love. They haven't had babies since the Cataclysm. The youngest Elf is Princess Lyranis and she was born about 527 years ago. But Dwarves are not only extremely charismatic, they also live approximately 1000 years. They are the longest lived of the mortal races. My teacher Euclase is 175!
Humans, Terraneans (wolf people) and Aquatians (mermaids) live roughly 50 to 100 years. Although Terraneans and Aquatians live on average 100 years or more given the advanced state of their magic in their countries. The humans that live in their countries also live longer lives. Corvis born humans don't last long unless they live in Larisch or have some Dwarf blood in them. Or both.
Dwarves like to mingle with other races. They are attractive and sociable. They are the only people on Tairie that can reproduce with any race. You might think humans can mix it up with the other races genetically and you would be wrong! That was actually a shock when I found that out. They can have babies with anyone! Including Dragons! Euclase and his siblings all have a Dragon for a dad!
ALL KINDS OF AWESOME!
I wonder what it would be like to meet a Dragon. On this world they are wise and gentle beings. Their job is to maintain the systems left behind by the ancient ones. Basically they are the engineers that keep this world running. I am definitely going to reach the top of Alderdell! I want to meet a Dragon!
