Standard Operating Procedures

Apparently you can't go to a fantasy world with magic and dragons without expecting road trip shenanigans. Anyway, I learned that I hate Giltea but so do a bunch of other people! And some of those people are high rank old family nobles. Go figure. Made some friends while adventuring on the road. Since they are 10 years old I made up something that would serve them as I guide. Or at least keep them distracted so they don't start an unnecessary civil war.

War serves no one, People! Ares is a selfish jackhole! We all know that! 

And the dude that represents War and Death in this world is even worse!

Anyhow, I made a list of rules and funny little Felix Sylvane decided to write it down. He's funny! I like him and his friends are a weird little bunch. His sister is super sassy and adorable. She just jumped right into fighting in Alderdell. She's as tough as they come! We're gonna be good pals. I can tell!

Commander Shephard came by and they could not believe I know a mermaid. Yup! This world has badass mecha-armor wearing mermaids who fight Kaiju! I bought some office supplies with some magistones I collected in Alderdell. The mermaids of this world live on the other side of the planet and have a highly advanced civilization. The commander stuck around and hung out with us in Alderdell for a bit. 

She and her team are going to conquer Alderdell! They need to talk to Lord Talos. The Kaiju situation is really tough right now. The last attack wiped out half their capital. Lots of people died and they need help. They need materials that are in greater abundance here in the continent of Corvis to rebuild. And their spirit guardian had to go into hibernation to recover from the battle against the last Kaiju. 

That guardian must be super tough! I want to met her someday!

My Aunt and Grandpa jumped in immediately. Dad is gonna make some serious cash too and so will the parents of some of my new friends. Best part is Commander Shephard is gonna get all the help she needs!

I love it!

Speaking of friends. My dad and Duke Lawrence Blaid have decided to arrange the marriage of my sister Sarah and Lambert Blaid. I know the average life span for a human on Corvis is 50 to 60 years but this feels a bit weird. I can't fully reconcile it. Well at least she had a choice. And honestly they do seem to like each other so who knows. Maybe they'll be ok? Goddess, I hope so.

El's Standard Operating Procedures:

Rule 1: Slug puts chains on you, you are obligated to choke him with them.

Rule 2: The bad guy accuses you of being his enemy, you look him straight in his evil face and deny it! You go the extra mile and call him crazy!

Rule 3: Beware of attractive scoundrels, you might fall in love.

Rule 4: Be careful who you trust with your true feelings. They could be used against you.

Rule 5: When a good person loses their way, remind them of their better selves.

Rule 6: Defy the Odds.

Rule 7: Knowledge is Power.
