My life is just one suck fest after another. So Addie broke up with me last week. Can't say I didn't see it coming. I mean, I have to go to the hellscape that is Giltea and she has cool things to do in Duncock with her family.
We had both agreed it was better to be friends from here on. I'm glad it happened now. She and I had been clashing on our opinions about Alderdell. She hates Alderdell. I love Alderdell. She doesn't mind that I love it but refuses to go with me to any of the gardens. I was starting to get tired of always going to places she loves but none of the places I love.
This way we stay friends.
If that were the worst thing that happened to me I would be ok. But sadly it was not.
I have been redoing all my Alderdell bosses. I am 14 so I can officially start my climb. Lord Argolas says it will take me a long time since I want to do it alone. I am ok with that. I want to enjoy it. Savor it.
So I went to Alderdell today and discovered a hidden area. I loved and hated it. The hidden area led me to the most marvelous library. But it also led me to a tiny connection to my old world. It almost broke me. I wanted to see my boys so bad. But I got to talk to Ichiro-san. We even got to share an adventure. He promised to look out for Ben and Luke. I'm glad they have a good friend like him.
Seeing him didn't break me but the "adventure" we shared definitely did. I will not be the same. I have not been able to sleep well. Lord Argolas keeps telling me I need a break. To come with him to Andoria. I am getting close to that point. I want to reach the 15th floor at least. I can't let Akio be the best humans from my old world could do!
No way is that little asshole the grand achievement of my old planet! Granted, they were not the brightest crayons in the box. I don't care. He is NOT the best the world my sons live in can offer!
He will be remembered as a mediocre waste! I will show these people what a summon is really supposed to be! I will reach the top of Alderdell on my own!
