My heart was leaping in my throat, since I was so excited about my date with Leo. He was doing to be taking me to Disneyland, along with Colette and Johnny. I purposely put on my orange tiger print dress, so that I could represent Tigger. He was my favorite character from Winnie the Pooh. Colette had gone with an aquamarine dress, so that she resembled Ariel from The Little Mermaid. It did help that she had the bright red hair to match, us both hurrying down the stairs once we were finished. It was only five minutes later when Leo showed up at the door, him leading us out to his car.

"You look beautiful," he whispered near my ear, causing me to blush.

"Thank you," I beamed, taking the passenger seat, since he would be the one driving. Even though there was an empty seat separating Colette and Johnny in the back, I could tell she was still thrilled. When we arrived at the amusement park it felt like we couldn't get inside fast enough. I tugged on Leo's hand as I convinced him to stop by the shop first to check out the different ears. I went with the classic Minnie Mouse ears with the red bow, while both Leo and Johnny got Mickey Mouse ones. Colette decided on the Minnie Mouse ears too only with a pink bow instead. I couldn't help but notice that Johnny seemed more down than usual, and I wondered if things were bad with Winona again, especially with her not being with us today. I kept my hand connected with Leo's as we walked through the park, just taking in everything.

"It's so magical here," I breathed. "Is there a certain ride we should go on first?"

"No, we can just wing it," Leo replied. "Johnny and Winona broke up a couple of days ago." He was whispering by this point, so that we wouldn't be overheard. Johnny and Colette were a fair distance behind us, so they couldn't make out what we were saying either.

"Really? How is he holding up," I asked in concern.

"He's doing alright. I think that's the main reason he agreed to go today, to get his mind off things. He's really broken up about it."

I barely nodded as I resisted the urge to glance back, since Johnny might guess that we were talking about him.

"You want to go on the Pooh Bear ride first," Leo suggested, taking me from my busy thoughts.

"Yeah, I did try to resemble Tigger today." I giggled as I pulled at the skirt of my dress to show him.

"Yeah, I kind of guessed that, or I thought it could be for The Jungle Book."

"No, I've never even seen that movie."

"You're kidding. It's one of the Disney movies everyone's seen as a kid," he remarked as we stepped through the line that was marked by a wooden, stick fence.

"I've never seen it," I blushed, double checking that our friends had followed us.

"We'll have to watch it together sometime. What Disney movie did you grow up with?"

"The Fox and the Hound, and I also loved anything to do with Winnie the Pooh."

He chuckled lowly as he ran his hand through his hair, the California breeze comforting. "That's a sad movie."

"Kind of, but I always thought the fox was cute in it. I loved how he started out as a baby and then grew up. I just loved how the storyline progressed."

He nodded just as the line moved further along, but with him I didn't mind how long we would have to wait. I enjoyed chatting with him while we waited to get on the ride.

"It really does look like the Hundred Acre Woods over here," I observed after a few moments of silence.

"Yeah, they're good at sticking with the themes of the movies here."
