"Do you want to spin much on the teacup ride," I asked Leo as we waited in the long line.
"It's up to you. I'm fine either way," he shrugged, me already able to see the fast spinning teacups up ahead.
"Are we all going to sit together this time?"
"I figured. Hopefully we won't feel sick on it, since we ate all that sugar," he lowly chuckled.
"That's true, but I think we'll be alright. Can we get a pink teacup? I just think those are so pretty," I gushed as I checked out the different colors.
"Yeah, as long as someone doesn't beat us to it first." More quiet chuckles escaped his lips as I glanced at Colette and Johnny who were having a conversation too. It made me happy that they didn't seem to feel left out, and I knew that this day was Colette's lifelong dream. "You want to go on the other Alice in Wonderland ride after this?"
"There's another ride," I asked, my eyes widened in shock but my mouth dropped in complete happiness.
"Yeah, it's where they do the storyline of the movie. It's like the Pooh Bear ride where you go through a building in a cart."
"I had no idea they had a ride like that for Alice. I hope my excitement doesn't make me sick on this ride first," I slightly laughed, nearly jumping up and down as I dreamed about our next activity.
"I think you'll be alright," he fondly said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders as we stepped forward. My heart was leaping with joy when we were able to select the pink teacup, deciding to not have it spin too much. Colette and Johnny were concerned it might make them sick as well, since they hadn't eaten since breakfast. I kept giggling as we occasionally spun around, holding onto Leo's arm as I fell against him. I was careful to not make myself dizzy by staring at the blurring scenery, feeling fine once our teacup came to a complete stop.
"That was a lot more fun than I expected," I remarked as we all stepped off.
"Yeah, I thought so too," Leo agreed, taking my hand which caused tingles to shoot all the way up my arm. I smiled over at him, just feeling like I was walking on a cloud in a dream, especially since I was with my perfect guy in the most magical place on earth. I was nearly jumping out of my skin once we were in the line for the second Alice in Wonderland ride. Leo kept wrapping his arm around me, rubbing my opposite arm to help calm me a little. I just kept rocking on my heels in anticipation.
"Which color cart do you think we're going to get," I wondered as we kept waiting.
"Hm... I think we'll get blue. What do you think," he asked back.
"Pink, or at least that's what I'm hoping for."
"Of course," he lowly chuckled. "I'm guessing that's your favorite color?"
"Yeah, but I also love orange a lot too, just, I'm not sure how much I like the two colors together."
"Yeah," he nodded. "I wonder what color Johnny and Colette think we're going to get."
I turned my head to find the duo behind us, interrupting them from their own little world.
"What color cart do you think we're going to get," I directly asked.
"I think we'll get yellow," Colette piped up.
"Green," Johnny calmly answered.
"We all guessed different colors, so this will be interesting," I reacted, my heart pounding more with each step that brought us closer to the head of the line. Eventually we were waiting for our caterpillar cart to pull up, but I didn't realize we would be in different ones at first, so that meant we had two chances at getting our guesses right. I felt happy when a pink one rolled up for me and Leo, Johnny and Colette securing a yellow one, which had been her prediction. The ride was everything I could've hoped it would be, feeling like I was truly immersed in the world of Wonderland. I felt sad when it was over, since everything had felt to realistic.
