."Please let me stay!" Felix begged, holding onto Changbin's sleeve. Changbin let out a long exhale. "Yongbok, you're a kid. I only took you a long for your safety." Changbin muttered, driving down the road. "And stop touching me, it's weird." Changbin said underneath his breath.
Felix let out a stubborn sigh, crossing his arms and looking out the window like a child pouting. "I'm not giving you my address." Felix said firmly, not batting an eye to Changbin.
Changbin gave Felix a glare. "There's no reason for you to even follow me around now." Changbin said, but there was no point it arguing. The younger boy wasn't going to listen it seemed like.
After seeing the odd street light, Changbin had made a phone call to the people who run the streetlights and stop lights around town, and they told Changbin he can go to their HQ to check some things out. He was originally going to drop Felix beforehand, but Felix has been refusing to give any details or addresses, insisting on staying by Changbin's side.
When asked why, Felix says that he wants to help solve a mysterious case like this, but of course Changbin was reluctant to agreeing, mainly because he didn't know Felix and it definitely went against protocol to even allow people to be a part of cases like this without special given permission.
But Felix wouldn't let up. He was very persistent, that's for sure.
"No one is supposed to know about this. If anyone asks, then..I don't know. Just don't tell anyone I allowed this." Changbin said with a low voice, obviously annoyed he agreed to this. Felix lit up at this, he was basically bouncing up and down in his seat.
"Really? Really?! Thank you so much! I promise I'll help!" Felix resisted the urge to reach out and grab Changbin's arm and shake him back and fourth, since Changbin was currently driving.
Changbin rolled his eyes, pulling into the parking lot into the HQ. "Yeah, yeah. It's not that big of a deal." Changbin muttered out, parking and getting out of the car, Felix quickly followed suit.
The two boys walked to the front, and of course there was security blocking the way.
The security guard stopped Changbin and Felix from progressing further. "I.D's, please."
Changbin reached into his pocket, pulling out his black leather wallet and opening it up, showing his police identification and his regular licenses. The security guards eyes widened slightly when he saw that Changbin worked for law enforcement, but he quickly regained his composure and looked at Felix, expecting the same thing but the boy froze.
Changbin looked at Felix, gesturing for Felix to show his I.D. "Come on, hurry up." Changbin said, wanting to hurry things up.
Felix gulped softly. "Uhm, I left my wallet at home." Felix whispered, and Changbin mentally facepalmed. "How the fuck do you leave your house without your wallet?" Changbin asked, his eyes darkening as annoyance bubbled up within him.
Felix became a bit smaller into himself. "Well I-"
Changbin shook his head, cutting Felix off. "Whatever. He's with me. I don't want any questions, I got permission to check something out so let me through. Now." Changbin said, his tone leaving no chance of arguing back.
The security guard quickly nodded, feeling intimidated by Changbin's tone and gaze. He stepped to the side, allowing Felix and Changbin to go through.
Once inside, Changbin had a set gaze of where he wanted to go, and Felix was just following next to him, keeping up with his fast strides.
"You're so grumpy all the time. Why are you so mean?" Felix asked, crossing his arms and looking up at Changbin with narrowed eyes and puffed out cheeks.
