𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐊 was a pogue.Lola enjoyed the little things in life; the perfect
wave, the sun shining down on her face as
she woke up, the breeze as her and her friends
would go through the marsh. She loved to spend her time at the local animal shelter, volunteering
whenever she could, always offering a helping
hand wherever she went. She had the most perfect friends that someone could only dream of. The
most loyal brother whom she looked up to in
such admiration every day. Though Lola may not have had a lot, she loved what she had dearly. Yet
she couldn't help but feel like one little thing was missing.𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐌 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍 was a kook.
Mariam was meant to enjoy the luxuries that were
offered to her and though she did partake in the
activities and events there was always a little voice in her head telling her how different things would
be if she lived on the other side of the island. It wasn't as if she wasn't grateful for what she had, she was, but over the years she got less and less
interested in what figure eight had to offer and started to dabble in hobbies she had observed in the cut. She took up surfing, hand making bracelets, cycling to places rather than getting driven. Just the little things that made her feel
more connected to the part of her that she felt was missing.. . .
One was the younger sibling to the infamous Maybank boy, the other to the esteemed Cameron girl. Their siblings were the definition of polar opposites, so why was it that they weren't.
Of course over the years they have run into one another, yet neither were willing to offer any more than a nod of the head or a tight lipped smile as they passed.
