Chapter 9

'Impossible... no one... just multiplies their power like that!!' thought Vegeta as he stood in front of Nappa.

"G-goku, how did you do that? Were you taught by the lord of worlds?" Krillin questioned. 

"Yup, it's called Kio-Ken. You control all the ki your body and amplify it for a heartbeat. If you get it right, your power and speed will go way up"

"Also, if I don't control my ki right, I can beat myself up..." the answer made you hum, seeing that it had a side effect if he didn't control it right.

"So you can't overuse it as much?" you asked him. 

"Yup! If I go over the limit, my body will start to hurt and it's probably destroying my body in the inside"

As the four of you were talking, Nappa tried to reach out for Vegeta while he was still in immense pain.

"T-thank you... Vegeta..." Vegeta grabbed Nappa's hand, a smirk forming on his face. "No problem..." he then threw Nappa in the air with one swing. 

"What are you doing?! Vegeta! Vegeta!!"

Vegeta started to power up, a ki aura surrounded him. "What good are you if you cannot fight?!" as he powered up, you four took guard as you and Goku felt his power level rising. 

'What is this power?' Goku thought as Vegeta shot a powerful ki blast from his aura and aimed it at Nappa. 

"N... NO!!!" as the blast came in contact, Nappa was blown up into pieces, surrounded by smoke.

You took flight, picking up Gohan while Goku grabbed Krillin. Shocked expressions stared at Vegeta except you, knowing that there was a possibility that Vegeta was going to kill him. 

"What kind of monster... would kill their own partner...?" You and Goku knew that Gohan and Krillin won't be able to fight.

"You two need to go to the Kame House, now!" Goku spoke with urgency.

"B-but why?" questioned Gohan. "The enemy is too powerful, Gohan. We have to get you both to safety" you spoke.

"Okay, before you two fight him, can you fight somewhere else?" Krillin asked, seeing that the lifeless bodies of their friends were still there. You both nodded as you said your goodbyes to the two.

You and Goku descended to the ground, seeing that Vegeta was already ready to fight. "We're not fighting here..." 

"Hmmm, have it your way" the three of you took flight as you flew to a new location.

'He's keeping up with us with no sweat...' thought Goku. As you continued to look for a new location, you three vanished.

Vegeta was on top of a mountain while you and Goku were facing him on another mountain.

"This makes a perfect place for you to die, Kakarot" he then turned to you. "I can't wait to feel your strength, Nemui" You scrunched up your face with slight annoyance. 

'This guy is probably more fight-happy than Goku'

For a second, a dark look formed on Goku's face, the feeling inside him came back, but he calmed down. "You should be honored, you know..." spoke Vegeta.

"A bottom tier Saiyan hardly gets a chance to fight an elite warrior like me, Kakarot. But I wonder what you could do, Nemui" He continued to explain.

"We Saiyan's are tested for combat as soon we are born... the ones with low numbers get sent off to planets with no serious opponents"

"If that's how I got to earth, then I'm grateful. I've worked hard enough to fight my way up. I've also never got to see Nemui fight as well" added Goku.
