Jungkook's feelings for Taehyung deepened, making it harder to control his emotions around him.
That's the reason he thought to stay away from Taehyung and talk less.
Meanwhile, Taehyung felt a pang of sadness whenever Jungkook ignored him or limited their conversations to work-related topics.
One day, during lunch, Jungkook sat in his usual spot, while his team occupied the table next to him, engaged in lively discussions and laughter.
Without knowing to each other, Jungkook and Tae exchanged occasional glances.
Their discreet exchanges went unnoticed by the others. Too.
Just then, Kim Mingyu, Mr. Kim's personal secretary, walked by the canteen.
The room erupted in excitement, with colleagues fangirling and fanboying over his exceptional intelligence, work ethic, and versatility.
Taehyung's curiosity got the better of him. "Who's that?" he asked Seokjin and Jimin, amusement dancing in his eyes.
