Taehyung sought out his old colleagues, eager to share the news. As he approached, their faces lit up with warmth.

"I have something to tell you all," Taehyung began, his voice filled with excitement. "I'm moving to a new team under Mingyu's supervision."

His colleagues exchanged bittersweet glances, happy for Taehyung yet sad to see him go.

"We'll miss you," Jimin said, his voice tinged with nostalgia.

Seokjin nodded in agreement. "You were an invaluable part of our team."

Taehyung consoled them. "We'll still have lunch together and talk whenever we want. Nothing changes between us."

Hobi's eyes sparkled mischievously. "We should throw Taehyung a farewell party!"

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "You're being dramatic, Hobi."

Jimin and Seokjin overruled Yoongi. "Sunday dinner, it's settled then," Jimin declared.

Namjoon chuckled, teasing Yoongi. "Come on, Yoongi, lighten up. It's a celebration."

As they bantered, Taehyung's heart swelled with gratitude.

Taehyung wanted to share his news with Jungkook, but just as he thought to approach him, Jungkook walked by, oblivious to Taehyung's call.

"Jungkook hyung!" Taehyung's voice trailed off, uncertain if Jungkook had heard or was ignoring him.

Jungkook disappeared into his cabin, leaving Taehyung with a mix of emotions.

Taehyung's lip trembled. "Now, no one will disturb you, hyung," he whispered.

Jimin placed a reassuring hand on Taehyung's back. "Don't mind him, Tae. He likes his solitude."

Seokjin added softly, "We'll invite him to dinner on Sunday. If he wants to come, that's fine; if not, it's his choice."

Taehyung nodded, his eyes downcast, his lip still pouting.

"I'm heading home early. Bye, everyone," Taehyung mumbled, avoiding eye contact.

His friends nodded sympathetically, sensing his sorrow.

As Taehyung walked away, Namjoon sighed and headed to Jungkook's room.

"Jungkook, we're having a farewell dinner for Taehyung on Sunday. Want to join us?" Namjoon asked gently.

Jungkook's expression remained impassive, but his eyes betrayed a glimmer of longing.

Jungkook hesitated, his eyes drifting away from Namjoon's gentle gaze.

"I'm not sure," Jungkook replied, his voice low and uncertain.

Namjoon nodded understandingly. "No pressure, Jungkook. Just let us know if you change your mind."

Jungkook nodded, his thoughts swirling with conflicting emotions.

As Namjoon left, Jungkook's gaze fell on a photo of him and Taetae with group. taken during happier times.
