The Crown Princess, Aquarius sat upon her throne to be. The gold seat had been etched with the holy symbol of the Empire, which hung inches above her head. The throne was tall and wide, designed for her mother and the rest of the angelic descendants. Being the youngest to sit in this divine seat made her feel small and tiny. The back of her heels barely crept over the seat of the chair. Her right arm was over her head as she rested it against the chairs armrest. As mentioned already, her head reached just to the emblem on it, which would have been concealed by the small of her mother's back if it were her sitting there. Everything about the Empire was designed for larger beings. Angels and devils who ruled and protected the Empire often towered over most humans.

But not as large as the crown princess' ego.

She wore a blue dress that descended down the steps of the throne even as she sat down. A gold wreath had been placed on her head, a reminder that she was the Emperor to be. Her face had been covered with that gross animal fat she despised, yet the dark blue on her lips accentuated her irises.

As casual as she breathed, she stroked the minds of everyone in her throne room. Her advisor's mind was disgusted by the amount of offworlders allowed in the room. The knights in the room were as brainless as they were still; the gold armor they wore reflected the glowing orbs that hovered on the walls behind and above them. The Imperial Congressmen had their minds on their days, barely in the moment enough to notice the man who entered the room.

He entered slowly, wrapped in gold robes that shone like foil under light. On his head was a veil that concealed his face and ears and chin, though the burn marks on his neck and fingers were exposed. The shoulder bag he held so tightly in his fingers was snatched from him by one of the Knights. The man stumbled back, his age being revealed as he almost lost his balance. When the knight had confiscated the bag, the man decided to kneel where he was. It was a painful effort that made Aquarius bone's ache as she watched him place his face onto the carpentered ground, as if to kiss the very ground she walked on.

"Good evening, my niece." he wheezed. His lungs must have been mechanical because there was a metallic rattling in his lungs.

Aquarius' advisor, Ophiuchus, flared with disdain.

Filthy offworlder can't even address the crown princess correctly!

So before Ophiuchus could respond, she raised a hand to silence him. Using her aura, she lashed a command to him with her telepathy.

"Not now, Ophi."

The serpent-like man took a step back. He dropped his head and silently took a step back.

This whole interaction happened in the span of a few seconds.

"Same to you, Lord Solomon of Amphigur." Aquarius waited for the man to rise. Instead he sat up and knelt on both of his knees. It was then she remembered that Amphigurians valued discipline of the body. She allowed him to remain as she continued.

"I'm told you've come bearing a gift for me."

"Yes, your highness." Solomon nodded. His veil touched his chin and left it as he did. Gesturing a hand to the knight who held his shoulder bag, he said, "The item is within that bag of mine."

Aquarius nodded to the knight, who delivered whatever was in the bag to his Crown Princess. He had to place the item on the seat, since he was only as tall as the average man, his arm length was not able to give it to Aquarius directly.

The telepath stared at the item for a moment. Admiring it before touching it. Studying the design and shape and color of it. Aura roared off it, since whatever it was carried immense power.
