Chapter 12. Late But Why?

{Lucifer's Pov}

I woke up from the rest I've been taking, I looked at the time to see... I was late, I don't know why I don't care enough to panic. I just walked out of the room I didn't care enough to give a single shit about my messy hair...

When I made It to Alastor's room, he had already started the broadcast, not surprised! I really would never be surprised because this Is Alastor the radio demon! He does this bullshit for a living-

"Lucifer why so late?~"

"Tired, there's your answer..."

"Hm, well let's continue this broadcast then!"

"Yeah..."

I sat down to the chair next to Alastor, I really didn't feel like being there. I'm very tired and I don't know why Is that! I just took a good nap and yet I'm still very tired...

"So Luciferrr~"

"What?"

"Are you doing okay?"

"Yeah just so happy to be here!"

"Can you not give me that type of tone?"

"Ugh... Whatever-"

"Seriously are you okay Lucifer?"

"I'm fine Al! I- I'm just tired okay!"

"I feel like you're lying to me~"

"I'm not I'm just tired promise!"

"Lucifer you can tell me If something's wrong If you need to~"

"I'll tell you later. Now Is not the time let's continue forward on the broadcast!"

"If you say so Lucifer~"

And that's what we did, we talked a lot Alastor mentioning some of his local tea and for some odd reason In a upsetting tone with Rosie? I thought they were best friends wonder what happened! I looked at the time and Its still dark out. Not like you can tell either way because Its just a darker tone of red, but you do get to see the lighting of most buildings.

You can see all the lights of the Vee tower, then you can see some of the lighting from the I.M.P, then something for Verosika Mayday I always forget what Its for, but she does have really good music! I'm still quite tired and do wanna leave I do think Alastor has noticed It a few times. Alastor talked about someone called Sera? No wait Susan! Right a old hag from cannibal town, and someone who I think a horrible person from the overworld!

It took a few more minutes for the goddamn broadcast to be done and over with! There was nothing to talk about much more, we have kinda run out of things to speak about! I don't even know when this whole bonding thing Is gonna end... Its honestly getting quite tiring! Coming here everyday to talk, and talk, just so much talking! For what?! Just so very few people listen!

"So Lucifer now that the broadcast Is finished why don't you tell me whats wrong?"

"Oh... Forgot about that, um I don't know I've been feeling quite tired for some reason I took a good amount of sleep to as you see on why I'm late! I just am getting tired of doing this whole broadcast shit to, no offense by the way-"

"None taken~"

"It's just getting a little draining and I really don't wanna do anything right now or In general!"

"Understandable ~"

"Look Its fun doing this and all but don't you get a little drained out from just doing the same stuff over, and over again?"

I looked at Alastor for a response but the facial expression tells me other wise that he hasn't... Right I forget he has done this broadcasting radio shit since he was alive! What am I even saying at this point, I probably disrespected his ass... I should just leave-

"Look I'll just go ahead and g-"

"Lucifer If you need to take a break from doing this we can take a break~"

"What?"

"You heard me, If you need to take a break so this doesn't become something you hate doing! We can take a break I understand, I know many people get annoyed with doing the same stuff all the time! I get It gets tiring I've done this for years! I've gotten tired of doing the same thing for a while so I just took a break from It~"

"So you won't be upset about It?"

"No of course not! People have their preference and their own issues to deal with and you also are the king of hell so you are a pretty busy man!"

"HOLY SHIT YOU JUST REMINDED ME I HAVE SO MUCH PAPER WORK TO DO?!"

I ran out of Alastor's room quickly to go to my room, I completely forgot I had paper work, then I had meetings for Asmodeus, Beelzebub, Satan, Ugh and of course Mammon... Whatever I need to work on the paper work then get to those goddamn meetings!

{Alastor's Pov}

I watched as Lucifer ran out of my room, he seemed pretty rushed. I hope everything goes okay with the paper work, I know he Is a busy man he Is the king of hell after all hopefully he didn't miss so much because that'd be pretty bad and he'd probably over work himself. I should probably let Charlie know that her Dad Is gonna be busy for quite a while, I'll let her know when she comes back from to the hotel!

I wonder how Charlie Is doing and the others! I should probably go make something to eat and make some food for the others because I don't want to deal with hangry sinners... Trust me they get to angry when their hungry. Anyway, I should probably head to the kitchen and make some food. I wonder what I'll make? Jambalaya, maybe Spaghetti! Wait I think Angel banned me from making Spaghetti because I broke It In half... Oops I guess! Anyway

I am gonna go downstairs and see what I'll make for the others when they get back, I have so many great Ideas on what to make!
