Chapter 11

Dokyeom and Joshua's wedding night has arrived. Luckily, Joshua's heat period had not yet arrived at that time, so Joshua was able to follow the event until it finished smoothly.

As promised, this private wedding event was made to look like a dinner usually held by the Dokyeom family. The servants at home prepared lots of food and drinks for the guests.

Luckily their marriage went smoothly. With just a blessing, Dokyeom and Joshua officially have the status of husband and wife. They tried to hold back their awkwardness when Dokyeom's relatives and friends kissed Joshua's lips.

Even though it was hard for Dokyeom, Dokyeom still did what newlyweds should do professionally. He kissed Joshua's lips gently, and this kiss was their first kiss.

Dokyeom and Joshua had made an oath during the blessing which said that they would protect each other, be responsible, respect, appreciate, cherish and love each other until death came to them.

The first person who was most excited and really waiting for this moment was Jeonghan. He didn't even mind if his younger brother got married first as a return for his kindness to Dokyeom's family.

Not only Jeonghan, there were Hoshi, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Seungcheol, Junhui, Woozi who came to their wedding because they were related to Dokyeom's father's pack.

None Kook Jihyun, Kim Taehyung, or other friends who were there. This wedding was really held in private and very private. From the outside, Dokyeom's house looked like usual, without any decorations around his house.

After the wedding was over, Dokyeom enjoyed dinner with Mingyu and Seungcheol. While Joshua chose to greet the guests with Jeonghan.

"Are you really going to forget your past after marrying Joshua? Come on, Kyeom. This is too much. She's already gone and-" Mingyu said.

"Don't ever think that I will do it as easily as you think." Dokyeom said.

"Should you wait and see if Joshua can be better than your past? Until when you being like this, Kyeom? Seriously." Seungcheol said.

Only Mingyu and Seungcheol here know the ins and outs of Dokyeom's past. Kook Jihyun too, maybe?

"I'm just doing my duty as an alpha and also Joshua's protector. That's all." Dokyeom said.

"You also have to carry out your oath earlier. It's useless if you just say it. You better throw this wedding party for me and Wonwoo then." Mingyu said.

"I can hear you, Kim Mingyu." Wonwoo said with a sharp glance from a distance, while with Joshua and Jeonghan.

"Oopss... He heard me, apparently." Mingyu muttered, embarrassed.

"If I hear news that you abandoned Joshua just because of your past, I will never forgive you, Dokyeom. I consider Joshua as my little brother that I have to protect too." Seungcheol said, with a serious tone like his alpha soul.

"That's right. We'll keep an eye on your movements. Just watch out if you guys fight or something. Jeonghan will definitely hit you too." Mingyu said.

Instead of calming his mind, this marriage made Dokyeom think a lot. He didn't expect to marry Joshua, an omega he had only known for a few weeks.

Dokyeom knew that Joshua did not have parents because they died from an attack by wild wolves. Maybe other people would say that Dokyeom was insensitive and heartless to Joshua who no longer had any family other than his brother.

"Just hope that Joshua can makes me change my mind." Dokyeom said while turning to Joshua who was with Jeonghan in front of the living room door.
