Chapter 13

The next day, Dokyeom and Joshua resumed their routine at school. They returned to the dormitory at night, right at dinner time. Luckily Kook Jihyun didn't see them coming.

Dokyeom and Joshua went to school together. They walked down the classroom corridor with an aura that intoxicated everyone who saw them, the aura of a newly married alpha and omega couple.

However, as we can see, no one knows about Dokyeom and Joshua's current marriage except Mingyu, Jeonghan, Hoshi, Woozi, Wonwoo, Seungcheol, and Junhui. What they do know is that Dokyeom and Joshua look like they are dating.

Without feeling embarrassed, Dokyeom held Joshua's hand tightly until he entered the classroom. Like a king and queen, Dokyeom even invited Joshua to sit on his seat first before walking to his seat.

It was strange for everyone. Dokyeom suddenly turned into an alpha who looked sweet, warm, and cheerful. Was it because of his heart-to-heart session with Mingyu yesterday?

Joshua didn't know what to do. He just agreed and followed what Dokyeom wanted him to do. What was clear was that Joshua looked happy because he thought that Dokyeom wasn't acting cold like usual. Usually Dokyeom would go to school first and be followed by Joshua fifteen minutes later.

Kook Jihyun suddenly entered the classroom right after Dokyeom sat on his seat. He put on a surprised and confused expression when he saw Dokyeom's expression who was smiling happily. It was unusual for Dokyeom to show that expression, no matter how happy he usually was.

Before sitting on his seat, Jihyun confidently approached Dokyeom on his seat.

"Dokyeom?" Jihyun greeted, making Joshua also turn to look at Dokyeom.

"What's wrong, Miss Jihyun?" Dokyeom said.

"Meet me behind the school during break time later." Jihyun said.

"Break time later?" Dokyeom glanced at Joshua briefly.

"Is there something you want to tell me? Just say it here. Why? Are you afraid? Is there a secret you want to talk to me about?" he added.

"It's not that I am afraid. But-" Jihyun was forced to stop her conversation when she heard Seungcheol enter the classroom.

"Later, okay..." Jihyun said firmly to Dokyeom as she returned to her seat.

Dokyeom actually objected to Jihyun's invitation because he was forced to leave Joshua alone. He was afraid that Jihyun would take this opportunity to tell Taehyung to attack Joshua again.

Who knows what Dokyeom thought about the strange Jihyun, for now Dokyeom wanted to focus on his studies.

"Can you tell Joshua to leave? I just want to talk to you alone. Why did you bring Joshua here?" Jihyun said.

Rather than leaving Joshua in danger again, Dokyeom chose to take Joshua with him so that he would stay safe. Jihyun was also annoyed by Dokyeom's current behavior.

"Why? Joshua could be in danger if he went alone, especially because of the mob attack that you did on that time. That's why I brought him here." Dokyeom said.

"Damn it... The problem is that the thing I want to talk to you about right now is about your past. It would be dangerous if Joshua find it out." Jihyun said.

"So what? Will I get karma for being friends with Dokyeom? Have I committed a big sin? Go ahead if you want to talk, I've been on guard bringing my earphones before coming here. I won't eavesdrop on your conversation, I swear. We're just friends." Joshua said.

Joshua's words were enough to impress Dokyeom with Joshua's courage in replying to Jihyun's words. This was not the time to reveal their husband-wife relationship. While Jihyun was even more annoyed because of Joshua's presence right now.

"Joshua, you-" Jihyun said.

"I'll stand behind that wall. So, talk as much as you like." Joshua said as he walked away from them.

"Joshua, don't go anywhere." Dokyeom said.

"I'm nearby here, Dokyeom. I'll be fine. I'll keep you guys safe so that no one else disturbs your conversation." Joshua said.

After Joshua left, Dokyeom sighed in annoyance and looked at Jihyun very seriously.

"You only have five minutes before the bell rings. Tell me what important things I need to hear." Dokyeom said.

"I just want to tell you about Jieun's will about you. Her father just told me Jieun's will." Jihyun said.

"Where is the letter?"

"Uhmm... I left it in my room, but I will still tell you about the important contents of Jieun's will."

"What is it?"

"First, don't let Dokyeom play with other omegas because it will offend her. Second, even if you marry another omega by force, it will also offend her. Third, if she were still alive now, she would always be loyal to accompany you and love you more than any other omegas in this world."

Dokyeom then left Jihyun with his cold face. This was really beyond Jihyun's expectations, Dokyeom was really someone who was serious and didn't like being lied to or played with.

That's why Dokyeom never believed someone's words in one hearing, he had to examine everything he heard especially about important things so as not to be deceived or used for bad things.

"Does he really have to think about something like that carefully? He's so serious." Jihyun muttered as she turned to leave the back alley of the school.

Luckily, Dokyeom could still see Joshua who was still faithfully waiting for him while hiding and listening to music through his earphones.

"Joshua?" Dokyeom said while patting Joshua's shoulder.

"Eh? Yes? You guys are done." Joshua said while removing his earphones from his ears.

"Yes, that's it. It's not that important what she said. Oh, yes. There is sports time after this, do you want to play basketball with me? I forgot to tell you. Last Sunday, Jun told us to find a partner to play basketball later. What do you think?"

"You don't need to ask about that. You already know the answer."

From Joshua's sweet smile, Dokyeom could see that Joshua agreed to his invitation.

"Ah, yes. Of course you want to because we are married. Let's change clothes. We will be in sports time soon." Dokyeom said.
