(Y/n pov)

My body felt cold. It never feels cold. It felt light. Was this death? No definitely not. How long have I been falling? The only comfort I had was the amulet around my neck that always made me feel like I had someone with me. So this is it. This is me being left behind. There is no other explanation. This has to be it. Well, I guess I need saving. That or I have to figure it out myself.

As I think all of this I hit the cold ground hard, normally that impact would kill just about anyone. My surroundings were dark... I honestly expected it to be hot down here but it was freezing. I couldn't see a thing but I could hear the sound of slithering around me. Slithering and other noises. I was almost terrified to light up the area but I knew whatever was down here with me could probably see me. So reluctantly I lit up my surroundings, as soon as I did that the entire area around me lit up and I was met with the most terrifying creature I have ever seen. I immediately recognized what it was. The first warden of Tartarus, never in my life would I ever think I would lay eyes on it... The Kampê...

Y/n: (terrified) Holy... Fuck...

It had wings the size of airplanes, and stood the massive. Its head had snakes around it, while at its waist it had three heads of beasts I could not describe. It had a massive tail that I could best describe as a scorpion tail. And it looked pissed of that I entered it's domain.

It immediately let a blood curling screech that will 100% be in my nightmares if I manage to escape. It rose its massive hands and slammed them down on me. I barely had enough time to teleport onto its hand as I drew my sword. This was gonna be difficult to say the least. It rose me close to its head as one of the snake heads launched at me. I went to slice it only for my sword to shatter in front of me. Fuck. I launched fire towards it and that seemed to only piss it off as I fell off its hand but I managed to teleport safely on the ground. Its tail smacked me hard and my amulet broke off. I tried launching fire but nothing came out. Just like at the Lotus Casino. What the fuck is going on? Was my amulet the key to my power? Thats so bullshit.

I didn't really have time to think as the Campê was back on my ass, it's tail launched down at me and I barely had time to dodge. Its tails stabbed into my leg making a sicking crunch sound as I screamed in pain. My leg was 100% broken after that impact, I knew I was gonna die and just as I figured it was going to continue its rampage... it left.

Seemingly pleased that it stabbed me. I didn't have any time to think of that as a burning sensation coursed through my body... poison. It hurts. It makes the pain in my leg seem like heaven. I cry out in pain, screaming, blood curling screams that make my throat bleed. My body begins to violently shake like it was seizing and going into shock. Before I lost consciousness, I saw a woman approach me. I couldn't make out any distinct features other than the color of her skin. Er... colors of her skin. Half of her body was white while the other half was a darker shade of white almost grayish. But before I could ask anything, I passed out.

I woke up in a dark environment, my leg still hurt but it seemed to be wrapped up in bandages. I don't know how long I was out but I knew I had to move. I wasn't safe no matter where I was. I tried to stand up but fell to the floor. I guess I was still weak from the poison.

Y/n: (in pain) Where am I?

I tried to look around but it was pitch black. I tried to use my powers to light up my surroundings but nothing happened. I tried to feel for my amulet but it wasn't there. So I guess this makes me a fraud? I have to find it. Once I do I will find out if it's just the amulet that gives me my power. If so then where did it come from, is that the symbol Hestia told Percy? So many questions...
