When Jennie reached Glory World by car, it was close to the afternoon. She got down from the car and went straight to Lisa's office.

Jennie had just reached Lisa's office when a secretary greeted her.

"Hello, Director Kim!"

She nodded gently before smiling. "Is Chairman Manoban inside?"

"Chairman Manoban's in a meeting, Director Kim!"

A meeting?

Startled, Jennie then responded, "Alright then. I'll go inside to wait for him."

"Alright, Director Kim," replied the secretary before Jennie pushed the door to enter.

It was only close to half an hour later that Lisa's meeting ended. When he returned to the office, the secretary informed with a smile, "Chairman Manoban, Director Kim's here. She's waiting for you inside the office!"

Lisa paused and nodded, handing the documents in his hand to Haruto before entering through the door.

He had just pushed open the door when he saw Jennie standing by the bookshelf, casually flipping through some books. When she heard the door open, she immediately turned, and upon seeing him by the door, a faint smile quickly flashed on her fair face. "Has your meeting ended?"

Lisa turned around to close the door before walking to her. "Mmm, it's about the chain stores in Car City. Why are you here?"

She smiled calmly, then pouted. "I'm here to do a spot check. Why? Am I not welcome?"

"Do I dare not to?" Lisa shot her an unhappy glance. He reached out to take the book from her and put it back onto the shelf as he pulled her towards him before going to sit on his chair. "I do hope that you'd come to check on me frequently, but you're the classic type of person who wouldn't visit without an agenda."

The attentive smile in her eyes became rapt as she put her arm around his shoulders. "You know me best."

"What is it? Let me hear it." Lisa took the water from the table and brought it to her mouth.

She lowered her head to take two sips before saying, "Last night, I told you about Naeyon and Jeongyeon, didn't I? I'm still quite worried about them, so this morning I went to visit them at the hospital. Coincidentally, Naeyon was there to wipe Jeongyeon down too."

Jennie suddenly sighed and continued sadly, "The doctor said that because Jeongyeon's been lying down for a long period of time, so there are signs of muscle atrophy. If he doesn't regain consciousness soon and continues like this, even if he wakes up later on, he'll very likely be paralyzed and can't take of himself. When Naeyon knew about this, she was heartbroken. I've watched her hold on for so long now. If things keep continuing like this, she will break down eventually."

After Jennie shared this with him, Lisa's eyes darkened. "The last time when I invited someone to check on him, didn't they say that he's been recovering? How did it become like this?"

Jennie shook her head as she responded, "I don't know. Jeongyeon's been in a coma long enough now. Uncle Yoo is feeling tormented now too. I was just thinking if we can help them find a way. Search all the hospitals across the country and see if there are any authoritative hopsitals that have dealt with a similar condition. If it doesn't work, then we'll take a look at hospitals abroad. Some form of hope is better than nothing, right?"

When she looked up at him, there was a hint of begging in her eyes. You could see how her eyes had reddened because of worry and anxiety.

"Alright, don't be sad now. I'll contact the hospitals for you. The last time Ah Bo already found quite a few, but considering that Jeongyeon's condition was improving then, we didn't pick up those leads. In fact, it's not easy to go abroad. Once Jeongyeon is sent away, Naeyon probably needs to go with him. Can things back home be handled?"

Lisa picked up the phone on the table as he looked at Jennie.

Jennie was stunned for a moment before she responded, "You're right. Violet's so young. I'm afraid she can't be pulled away from Naeyon, Uncle Yoo and the rest. If we really can't, then let's just bring Violet to our home. We already have two anyway. There's also Aunt Lin and Aunt Fang to help take care of them, so it should be fine. What do you think?"

Lisa thought about it then said, "I've got no comments on this, but we'll need to see what Naeyon thinks about it. I'll get Ah Bo to organize things whereas I'll leave Naeyon's work for you to arrange, okay?"

Jennie then nodded gladly before saying gratefully, "Thank you, Mr. Manoban!"

Lisa glanced at her. He knocked on her head gently with curled-up fingers as she subconsciously lifted a hand to gently nudge him away. After that, he called Ah Bo in America, and very soon, they arranged everything.

After that, Jennie called Naeyon and told her about this development. Naeyon hesitated for a while before finally agreeing. Eventually, they arranged for Jeongyeon to be sent to an authoritative hospital in Boston for medical help by Lisa's private plane that weekend while their daughter, Violet Yoo, would be taken care of by Naeyon's parents first. To make taking care of Jeongyeon more convenient and prevent any sudden emergencies, the local hospital also delegated two doctors and two nurses to accompany Jeongyeon and Naeyon for the journey.

When they left, it was the morning of the weekend.

The weather was good, and Lisa and Jennie personally went to send them off.

When everything was ready, Jennie pulled Naeyon to the side and consoled her, "Nay Nay, when you arrive, there'll be someone to pick you up. There will also be someone to arrange a place for you to stay, so don't worry. The hospital they contacted over there has a great experience with such cases. Professor Harry has already understood Jeongyeon's situation from the doctors over here, and they're confident in helping him recover. In fact, their medical facilities are better over there. Don't be too worried."

Naeyon nodded. Even though she seemed a little bleak, her eyes were filled with gratitude. She looked at Jennie indistinctly, then at Lisa who remained silent throughout the whole conversation. She said with a slightly raspy voice, "Mmm, I know. Thank you, Jennie, Chairman Manoban."

Lisa only nodded gently to accept Naeyon's gratitude while Jennie patted her on the shoulders. "There's no need to say all this. Take good care of yourself over there. I thought about how you might not be too used to the language over there, so I've arranged for an assistant who's fluent in both countries' languages. Don't worry about things over here. I'll do my best to watch over them."

"Mmm! I really don't know what to say, Jennie..." Naeyon suddenly got all teary-eyed.

"Then, there's no need to say anything. Just let Jeongyeon wake up peacefully. That's the most important thing. Alright, it's almost time. Quickly board the plane. Remember to call me often when you're over there and let me know how you're doing. Call me if you need anything!"
