Moonbyul went quiet. He rubbed his nose and said, "If this is true, you have to be careful with Sehun, Lis."
Lisa handed the tablet back to Haruto, glancing out of the window. "It's within my expectations. Tell Ryujin he doesn't need to stay there anymore. Get him to come back."
"Master, aren't we looking for Sehun anymore?" Haruto looked at Lisa in doubt.
"He has something he wants here, so he'll definitely be back. Given the current situation, it'd best benefit your Master. Though Jisoo did lose out on a great deal of influence, he still holds a certain amount of power when his mother, Wang Qin, was around, but with her death, most of the people who sided with her now follow Kim Joon."
Moonbyul shrugged as he glanced at Lisa. "Lis, I hope he isn't someone who can't stand up on his own. I know you have an interest in Jisoo. He has a good heart, but I can't sense the determination in him. He isn't really resolute to do something. That drive of determination could be something core that is needed in many critical moments. This has been proven many times in history."
Lisa's eyes darkened as he put one hand on his forehead. "I don't understand. Why would Ji Shung want Wang Qin dead? Did Kim Joon ask him to do so? Or was it Sehun?"
This question had been troubling Lisa and was the only thing he could not understand throughout this incident. He felt that Ji Shung had no reason to kill Wang Qin. Everything had its consequences, and Wang Qin's death did not seem to bring Ji Shung any benefits, so why would he have done that?
Moonbyul gave it some thought before saying, "If you're sure it's Ji Shung's plan, then find the murderer to pinpoint him. Maybe he'll tell the truth."
Lisa shook his head. "Not really. We don't have any evidence to show that Ji Shung ordered him to do so, and the murderer's identity can only be investigated by the police. We can't waste our time and energy on this. Actually, I'm quite lucky to get out of this tight spot. I felt uneasy when I received a call from Bambam. Unfortunately, I was unable to save Wang Qin."
"Master, I think the perpetrator's initial target was not Wang Qin, or else, Miyeon wouldn't have gotten the injury on her arm." Haruto remembered something.
Lisa's eyes turned icy when her name was mentioned. He then asked, "Did Krystal do anything lately?"
"Not really. I thought she would go look for Miyeon and the others when Master Manoban was arrested, but she was acting cautiously." Haruto smiled.
"She's not so much of a fool after all." Lisa extended his arm towards Haruto and said, "Let me take a look at the share market."
Haruto quickly found the share market page and handed the tablet to Lisa. "It's stabilized all thanks to Missus's effort. She gathered Vice President Zhang Lan and the others on the night you were detained. They came up with a solution and worked with Master Mo tirelessly after that. She even asked Elder CEO Son for help regarding the South River project."
Lisa looked at the data graphs as his eyes turned gentle and warm. He blinked and looked out of the car window, observing the moving scenery as his empty heart filled up in an instant.
Moonbyul's eyes never left Lisa. He noticed his expression and gave his shoulder an understanding pat. "Alright, it's getting late now. Let's head back now. We can rest during the weekend tomorrow. Let me down at the junction ahead. I'm going back to my office to get something. You don't have to send me back."
Lisa returned the pat on the hand on his shoulder as he said gratefully, "Seulgi and you have been a great help. Thank you, buddy."
Moonbyul laughed and started teasing him, "That's alright. We have a 5km weighted run this weekend. Are you coming?"
"Maybe next week. Come over to Maple Residence with Seulgi this weekend. It's been some time since we last gathered around. Weather like this calls for a barbeque. Ryujin should be home in time as well. Haruto, come over too," Lisa suggested as he looked outside at the warm light.
Moonbyul snapped his fingers and nodded. "Alright, see you then!"
"Remember to bring your wife along as well. Solar is quite close to Jennie, so they can chat together. It's been some time since you got married to Solar. When are you having your wedding reception?" Lisa asked Moonbyul a sudden question.
Moonbyul was stunned for a moment. He then hit his own forehead and gasped. "I almost forgot if you didn't mention it. I've been busy working in my office and was pretty worn out with what happened to you, so I haven't got the time to bring her home. Her mother has been feeling unwell lately, so she went back to take care of her. I haven't told my family I'm married. I'm not sure if my sister knows by now."
Haruto coughed and blinked his eyes when he heard Moonbyul. He suddenly felt sad for Solar.
Master Lee! You don't have the understanding that you're already a married man!
Lisa glanced at Moonbyul, feeling uncomfortable under his stare.
Moonbyul curled up slightly and stared back at Lisa. "Don't look at me like I'm your prey. Go back and look at Jennie instead!"
