As the chaos overwhelmed in the Remus Academy the Headmistress proclaimed that everyone has to go home for safety. Theodore immediately went to our dorm to fetch me and I was thrown with curious eyes. Who wouldn't a Knights who are not merely knights but the King's chosen knight were task to get a mere witch.
Sav and Emily shoot me with teasing yet questioning looks. So I mouthed to them, later. They smiled at me and we bid farewells. They are still waiting for their parents to ferry them. Students are not allowed to go home without escort because it was said that the person who killed the Professor is still within the range of Academy.
"Are you okay?" said Theodore while scanning me from head to toe. I just nodded to him because I'm preoccupied by whom must have killed the Professor. I want to ask Rachel but she was already in some hidden place only my father knows. Thus, I am eager to ask him about her whereabouts.
We are riding a Pegasus and from above I can see from here the Kingdom. It is huge and wide yet I have only visited the Jade Pavilion where the King and Queen reside.
It is already late when we arrived and my father welcome me with warm embrace.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes dad, do you know anything about what happened?" Xabara ask him and motioned her to sit beside him.
"We don't know yet, Princess but the knights have lead. According to the report there is one student who visited him they are still trying to find out who that person is"
"I know who she is"
Everyone look at her even Theodore eyed on her intently. Their eyes are waiting for her to continue what she is about to say when the Queen joined them. She doubtful to tell them now because she still doesn't trust the Queen. It seems that the Queen knows she can sense between good and evil because its halo is not visible to her. Nonetheless, in her mind its better to tell them because it needed an immediate action.
"It was Rachel, Dad."
Their expression did not change as if they already knew unlike the Queen who look surprise.
"How can you say so? Do you have evidence?" the Queen blurted.
"I was with her doing out homework at the library when she couldn't find what she needs I told her to asked directly from Professor Menelaos. I saw her went to the faculty that's it. I don't know what happened then"
There is a hint in Xabara's voice that believe it is Rachel's doing. The King and Theodore doesn't like the tone of Xabara but they don't want her to get offended.
"It's not good to point fingers Xabara" Theodore hissed. Xabara rolled her eyes. It was clear that it's not her intention to accuse Rachel she is merely stating the fact.
"You take your rest Princess. Let us take care of it"
"But Dad, I want to know where she is"
"You can visit her later for now take a rest. I'm grateful that you are fine"
Her dad hugged her before he went out to his meeting room with Theodore. She feel upset on how Theodore responded to her but it was shrug when she saw the Queen hurriedly went out. She observe the Queen as it goes away she looks in hurry and worried.
She went to her room and dozed off.
She is awaken by a breeze of air coming from her open window.
I made sure to close this before went to sleep.
She look outside and also be seen is peace. From there she saw as the sun set in the West. It is in beautiful orange hue. She can't help but smile and imagine how her life turned so much from living in the mountain to the Kingdom she only once dream.
