The lobo-guy even pointed the dorms. She faces him and handed a chocolate bar from her pourse.
"Here accept it as a thank you" sabay abot ni Xabara sa pagkain.
Ngumiti sa kanya ang lobo.
"What's your name by the way?" Xabara asked.
"Hmm why you're interested on me?" kumindat pa ito sa kanya.
"You think highly of yourself for sure. Tsk hindi pwedeng kilalanin ang tumulong sa iyo?"
Lalong tumaas ang ngiti nito.
"Sus palusot mo. I'm Gabrielle Haniman at bago rin ako rito. I was strolling too like what you did but as for me I'm good in directions and memory."
Hindi maipinta ang mukha ni Xabara.
"I was completely black-out earlier and besides I didn't know how I got there. It's not that I want to go there. And by the way JUST..the name"
After Xabara said those she walks out in a fancy way that made Gabrielle laugh very hard. Tiningan muna ni Gabrielle na makapasok si Xabara bago lumisan sa kinaruroonan nito.
"Damn. I didn't even ask her name."
Nasa boses nito ang panlulumo ngunit napangiti na lamang siya ng maalala ulit si Xabara.
Simon on the other hand, felt assured when he saw the Princess went inside the dorm. Minatyagan muna nito ang kaibigan niyang si Gabrielle at nakita ang pagiiba-iba ng expression sa mukha. Natawa na lamang siya at tumingin ulit ng isang beses sa pinasukan ni Xabara bago mapagdesisyunang umalis.
"How was her day?" Theodore asked while sipping in his green tea.
Umupo si Alvin sa gilid nito habang dinidilaan ang muffin na hawak niya. Simon rolled his eyes before facing Theodore.
"She's fine. She meets a vampire as well as a wolf today."
Biglang nagkainteresado ito. He puts his cup of tea in the center table and look at him seriously.
"Who are them?"
"Mattew and Gabriel"
"Gabrielle is here?" sabat ni Alvin pagkatapos ay nilamon ang muffin. Simon eyebrows crouch as what Alvin did. Napabuntong hininga na lamang si Theodore at kinuha muli ang inumin.
"Why you didn't stop Gabrielle, you know that his dangerous"
"She said not to meddle in her business and besides its Gabrielle magdadalawang -isip pa iyun kung may gagawin ba siya. And if he ever did, doon na tayo makisali. He's our friend after all"
"We are Knights. It's our duty first, family, and then friendship that's the order Simon remember that"
Theodore voice is seriously dangerous and there's a tone of authority. Alvin even stop soaking a muffin in his coffee and drunk his own saliva instead. Simon meanwhile, nodded to him feeling defeated of getting a lesson from him again.
Theodore is always been like that. His duties, missions are all important and first in his priority. He is the descendant of the legend knight that guarded and protected the Rose Line. But his duties is what made him distant to his friends and his family but also made him the most famous knights and living in the Light Realm. While Simon and Alvin is so different, approachable and weak to the poor and pity, he on the other hand don't take those crap and stand in his principle.
IN THE WITCHES DORM, Xabara heard the noises of each individual because of her sensitive hearing. Habang napararaan siya hindi niya maiwasang mapatingin din sa kanila. Xabara composes herself and walk with confidence but then she felt relieved when she saw Alice waving her hand and walking to her.
"EVERYONE! EVERYONE!" Alice shouted and grabbed Xabara's hand.
Alice caught everyone's attention and Xabara sweat out of nervousness. Alice hold her hand tightly feeling the tension she had.
"This is the new kid I was talking about. Let's all welcome Xabara Levines of Witcher Alley"
After Alice announced her name everyone claps their hands and smiled to her. In that moment Xabara becomes new. The shyness she felt was gone and replaces it with joy and completely astonish to herself that she isn't pulling people away from her instead embracing her.
She felt a warm hug in her back and when she turned around she saw a beautiful woman in her pure invisible white halo.
"Hi I'm Savanah and this is Emily we are your roommate nice to meet you Xabara hope we become close"
"Salamat" iyun na lamang ang na sabi ni Xabara dahil sa saya na nararamdaman nito. Her being the repellent because she's wedlock was completely vanished. Noon ay kinamumuhian siya ng tao at pinagbabato ng kung ano-ano but look at her now people doesn't hurt her they welcome her. A dream that Xabara always wanted.
Xabara is now surrounded by witches smiling at her and gladly welcoming her. Being a witch isn't bad at all.
Alice throws a simple dinner to welcome her. That was the longest night for her but she did not get tired instead she was overpowered with joy and enthusiasm.
"Dahil bukas ang unang klase mo hindi ka muna namin makakasama. Every freshman needed to learn the brief History of the Light Realm first. Actually meron namang subject tayo nun but it's like an orientation to all new students of the Academy kaya necessary iyun. However, we can take our lunch together at the Canteen tomorrow. Doon ka nalang naming hihintayin nina Alice at Savanah" ika ni Emily.
Tumango sa kaniya si Xabara.
Pagkatapos ng pagtitipon-tipon ay nag-aya si Alice na pumunta sa likod ng dormintoryo.
"Bakit anong meron roon?" tanong ni Xabara.
The girls smirk at her and drag her towards the door.
"Let's go"
Xabara amaze of what she's seeing now. Behind the trees were a fountain and a huge field were witches could hang out and stargaze.
Masayang pinuntahan ni Xabara ang ang ilog at dumugaw mula sa malalaking bato.
"This is a hidden paradise"
Xabara watches the girls running in the field happily. Mula sa kalayuan kung saan ang tatlong magkakaibigan ay nagpapahinga habang tinatanaw ang bituin ay bumaling sa kanyang kinauupuan.
"Xabara come here!" malakas na sigaw nina Alice, Savanah at Emily.
Nakangiting tinunguan ni Xabara sila at bumuntong hininga. A sign of relief and satisfaction.
Tinakbo niya ang pagitan nila ay sumalampak sa lupa ng maabot na niya ang mga ito. Natawa na lamang si Xabara maging ang tatlo dahil sa lakas ng pagkakahulog nito.
"HAHAHAHA okay ka lang?" bungisngis pa na ika ni Emily.
Napakamot na lamang siya habang natatawa rin.
"I'll treasure this moment, forever"
