As the days turned into weeks, Lila’s new collection took shape, garnering interest from various fashion insiders. However, the buzz also brought unwanted attention, and rumors began swirling about the dynamics between Lila, Ethan, and Sophie.

One afternoon, Lila was at a coffee shop near the studio when she overheard a group of fashion bloggers discussing her collection. The conversation quickly turned to gossip about her past with Sophie and Ethan.

“Did you hear? Sophie was Lila’s best friend and then started dating her boyfriend. Talk about betrayal!” one blogger exclaimed.

Lila’s heart sank as she listened. The narrative was twisted, painting her as the villain in a story that she never wanted to be a part of.

Feeling unsettled, she returned to the studio, where Ethan was reviewing plans for an upcoming event. “Hey, how’s it going?” he asked, looking up at her with a smile.

“Not great,” Lila said, her voice heavy. “I just overheard some gossip at the café. They’re making it sound like I’m the one who’s causing all the drama between you and Sophie.”

Ethan’s expression darkened. “What? That’s ridiculous. You’ve done nothing wrong. I can’t believe they would twist the story like that.”

“I know, but it still hurts. I didn’t ask for any of this,” Lila said, frustration bubbling to the surface.

Ethan stepped closer, concern etched on his face. “We’ll handle it together. This is about your talent and your designs, not your past. Let’s not let them take away from what you’ve built.”

Lila felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. “Thank you for standing by me. It just feels overwhelming sometimes.”

“I get it. Let’s focus on your collection and the showcase. That’s what really matters,” he said, his tone reassuring.

As they continued to work, Lila felt a renewed sense of determination. She wouldn’t let gossip dictate her future.
