Author's pov:
Jungkook's hands trembled with fury as he thrashed everything in his path, throwing whatever he could reach. His heart pounded against his chest, a blazing fire of anger and frustration fueling every movement. He had seen every video, every post where his phone had been zoomed in on—Taehyung's photo crystal clear for the world to see. Now, everyone knew, and the cruel storm of online harassment had descended on the one person he loved the most.
As soon as Jaehyun had informed him about what had happened at Taehyung's shop, something inside him snapped. He wanted nothing more than to run to Taehyung, to protect him, to fix this mess. But the brutal truth was that his concert was set to begin in an hour, and he was trapped, forced to face the stage instead of Taehyung's turmoil.
"We'll release a statement. You don't have to worry about that, okay?" Yoongi said, his voice steady, trying to ease the tension. But Jungkook didn't respond. His mind had already made a decision.
He started to get ready, the process mechanical as stylists worked around him. His fury was barely contained, and everyone could feel the tension in the room. Seokjin, Jimin, Mingyu, Yoongi, and Hoseok stood nearby, their faces solemn as they watched Jungkook prepare for a concert he didn't want to do.
Namjoon and Jaehyun were still at Taehyung's shop, trying to contain the situation, and Jungkook was dying inside, desperate for updates, desperate to know that Taehyung was okay. Every second away from him felt like torture, and the weight of his helplessness crushed him.
He wanted to scream, to fight, to be anywhere but here.
"I'll sue every single one of them," he muttered under his breath, voice cold with rage. "I swear I'll destroy them for this."
"Calm down, yeah? I was there, and Taehyung is fine... at least, he tried to look fine,"
Seokjin said softly, walking over to Jungkook. He had been holding a bouquet in his hands with such care, the flowers arranged perfectly, each petal looking untouched despite the chaos.
"Take this. Taehyung made this for you."
Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the bouquet in Seokjin's hands. The sight of it made his heart stutter, a wave of emotions crashing over him—guilt, love, fear. He reached out, his hands trembling slightly as they closed around the bouquet.
"Beautiful... just like him," Jungkook whispered, his eyes fixed on the bouquet in his hands. Everyone in the room stared at him, surprised by the raw emotion in his voice. A soft smile tugged at his lips, and Seokjin smiled too, sensing the weight behind Jungkook's words.
Without looking up, Jungkook spoke again, more resolutely this time. "I didn't tell you, but I love Taehyung. I'm going to do everything in my power to make him mine. I'd be glad if you guys... if you'd help me in this."
The room fell into stunned silence. Seokjin, ever calm, plucked two flowers from the bouquet and tucked them into Jungkook's jacket pocket with a knowing smile. But the rest? They were speechless, a collective gasp filling the space.
"You're fucking not... You forgot everything? And what about Sehun? Aren't they dating? Why the hell would you jump back into the same shit?" he seethed, marching toward Jungkook with frustration etched across his face. Jimin was the first to break the silence.
Jungkook's gaze snapped up, his earlier calm replaced by the flicker of anger.
"I have not forgotten. I've forgiven. And no, they're not dating. He lied to me," he shouted, his voice rising with the emotion he had been holding back.
