𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 6: 𝒑𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒓𝒔

As I stood in the bathroom I looked in the mirror and started seeing slightly more of my skulk corruption and more present watcher magic in my eyes and I frowned, finding more and more imperfections that I hated about myself on my face and visible body, glaring down at it then the words started playing in my head again

“𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐲. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐥.”

“𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬? 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭?”
“𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫? 𝐇𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐚𝐬, 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈'𝐦 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐈 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.”

As the words went on he just stared at himself in the mirror, zoning in and out, until hengot tired of it and punched the mirror so hard it shattered, the glass causing his knuckles to start bleeding even if he couldn't feel the pain in his hand

Scar rushed in almost immediately and he had a worried look on his face and he practically kicked down the door to get to me, “what happened-” he cut himself off when he saw the situation and his face and demeanor went from ready to fight someone to ready to comfort someone, possibly something he learned from being with grian for.. 5 years? I think was what he told me, I didn't exactly remember in that moment since I was too busy trying to keep myself from a panic attack, I felt his hand gently take the one I punched the mirror with and took a small look at it

“Do you wanna talk about it?” He asked in a caring voice as he put my hand down and grabbed a first aid kit and had me sit on the toilet while he sat on the edge of the bathtub and started handling my knuckles, doing it with surprisingly good skill and before I could verbally say anything he just started talking since he could tell I really didn't want too, “Grian used to do this a lot, you know? It was so bad in 3rd life he was doing it about twice a day, so I learned how to do these types of bandages from Pearl, and I helped him get better at it and by the time we reached double life he only did it like once a month and then he kinda just stopped talking to me about it in limited and secret life but since I have my memories back now from the outside world he doesn't do it anymore at all!” He ranted, wrapping up my hand with experience for someone with 10+ years of experience, “and like you can always come talk to me about anything you know that right?”

I just simply nodded, he could tell I didn't feel like talking and that I didn't like him touching me even the slightest bit so he put down my hand once he was done wrapping it, “do you want anything to eat? Maybe I can get you some water” I just shook my head for both those options, I really just wanted to go to bed since I haven't been able to sleep in the last two days

“I'm guessing you just want to sleep then?” I nodded and he helped me stand up and took me to my room, walking with me in case I fell or passed out. He took me into my room and I immediately laid down on the bed and he chuckled as he covered me up and spawned in a plushie for me to sleep with and I happily took it and curled up into a ball, holding the plushie up to my chest and stomach since Including make myself small enough to do so.

“Night kid,” he whispered. I was far too tired to argue that I was in fact older than him by several centuries. I heard the door gently close tight before I passed out.

I sat down on the couch and svrolled through notifications rhay I hadn't looked at in a couple of says, granted I know I shouldn't have ignored everyone but I was.. 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒚.. Doing what I don't have to say {He was crying} the most I missed was that Leah is a red life now, no one else has really died..

I hope you enjoyed it! Sorry it took me so long, school is not making my writers block any better and 8th grade ela sucks, but my teachers like my short stories I make so I'll take it! (If you want to see them {they probably suck} just tell me and I'll make a thing where I put all of my school writing in) also not having wifi makes it hard to see shit on wattpad lol
