Enjoy! 💞

Ruben's parents were coming all the way from Portugal to visit you this week. It would be their first time meeting Emmy and Vale and it was safe to say that you were a nervous wreck.

Ruben was also a nervous wreck, but for other reasons entirely. He recently suggested that the two of you needed to hire a housekeeper to clean up his apartment, and to handle the cooking....and grocery shopping. And if they were willing — the entertainment of the children.

"So, a nanny basically?"

"Not a nanny." Ruben argued, hearing the irritation in your voice. A pause. "Okay a nanny."

"Why would we hire a nanny, Ruben? I can't believe that you would even suggest that."

"Look around Y/N." You stood in the middle of the living room. A war zone to any visitor. A real mess. Toys scattered everywhere on the floor, drawings taped to the walls, and slime....hidden in every corner of the room, only the smell of aftershave revealing exactly where.

"It's a zoo, Y/N. I'm living in a zoo." Ruben's outstretched arms fall hopelessly to his sides. "I've gotten rid of the expensive paintings, the fragile sculptures and vases. Hell, I've even put away most of my throphy's. Still your kids will find something of mine to break. I can't take it anymore. We can't live like this."

"My kids....?" You felt the ripple in your heart.

"Yeah?" Ruben's eyebrows furrowed, your hurt expression stunning him.

"So whenever they break something or make a mess they're suddenly my kids? My responsibility alone?"

"Y/N, you know that's not what I—"

You turned your back on him, hiding your face.

"Hey, baby don't—"

Behind your back you heard Ruben shuffle through the mess. Soon his arms wrapped around you, sweeping you into the warmth of his torso, cradling you in his arms.

"You know that's not what I meant." Ruben whispered, his lips brushing softly against the lobe of your ear. He pressed kisses against your skin, tracing them down the slope of your neck. "They're also my kids." He muttered. "Our kids."

A sighed as you slumped against him, your head falling back on Ruben's shoulder. He continued nibbling on your neck, his hands busy with the buttons on your knitted sweater, sliding it off your shoulders to reveal that you were naked underneath it.

"Wow." He breathed, a silent prayer of gratitude that Emmy and Vale had just been dropped off at school. Iker was still present, but his playful growl was heard somewhere in the kitchen.

"Bedroom?" Ruben suggested.

"Bedroom." You nodded.

Ruben did not hesitate to gather you in his arms and carry you there. Your legs wrapped around his waist, your hands raking through his thick hair while you kissed him open mouthed. He fought to get you to the bedroom, throwing you on the bed once he did. The sight of your bouncing breast arched his brow.

"Like what you see?" You grinned, playfully pinching your nipples while he watched you from above.

"Don't." He grunted, a warning. "No touching yourself unless I say so."
