JUST AS RAFE HAD SAID, MADDY AND TOPPER were with the Cameron's. Maddy was in her element, running about with Sarah like they were kids again.

Sarah and Maddy ran into a little girl who'd ended up leaving her Teddy in a boat where the power lines had fell.

"Okay, can you tell me what she looks like?" Maddy smiled at the little girl, Sarah still crouched by her, holding her hand.

"She has a trunk and blue ears." The little girl hummed, her voice small and fragile.

"Okay, I'm gonna get her for you and Sarah's gonna stay with you." Maddy smiled, winking at Sarah as she saw the boys watching.

"Be careful of electricity." The little girl said, holding Sarah's hand tightly.

"Don't worry, I'll be okay." Maddy smiled, climbing across the fallen posts and everything, "It's dangerous so stay right there with Sarah."

"Hey, there's 14000 volts in those wires." The house owner shouted down at the dark haired girl.

Maddy shrieked as she fell forward slightly but managed to regain her balance, a smile on her face the whole time.

"Maddy, be careful!" Topper shouted over at his twin, "Mom and Dad will kill me if you get hurt."

"Shut up, Topper." Maddy shouted back, "I'm trying to concentrate."

"Oh, you gotta be kidding me. Maddy, get down now!" Rose shouted. She may have not been related to the girl in anyway shape or form, but she still acted as if she was Sarah's knuckle head sister.

"Rose, calm down. I'm an athlete. I got this." Maddy smiled confidently.

Maddy zoned out all other calls from anyone, ignoring their words. Maddy turned on the wooden beam she was stood on and did a little dance, smirking back at Rose and the boys as Sarah laughed.

"Maddy, that's not funny." Topper scolded her twin sister.

Maddy made it to the boat, leaning down and seeing the teddy, "I see her!"

Maddy also saw cut wires and thought this would be the perfect time to play a prank. Maddy moved slightly on her feet before gasping and screaming, pretending to fall dead.

"Maddy!" Topper screamed as he ran forward, followed by Rafe who nearly spilled his beer.

"Maddy?" Rafe called out at the girl, who looked as if she was lying there, dead.

Maddy smiled, holding up the cut cord, waving it back and forth with a giggle, "It's disconnected. Absolute suckers. You guys should see your faces."

Maddy grabbed the girls teddy, making her way back over to land and handing it to her before she ran off with giggles.

Sarah and Maddy walked off, giggling about the prank Maddy just played. She even got Rafe worried. Rafe never gets worried unless it's about himself.

"I'm gonna go see Topper, Wheezie is probably telling him things." Sarah chuckled, seeing the two standing there.

"M'Kay, I'll see you later." Maddy smiled, as Sarah walked off. When Maddy turned to walk the other way, Rafe was stood there.

"Are you crazy?" Rafe asked, gesturing to her temple.

"What?" Maddy chuckled.

"Are you crazy? You could've gotten yourself killed." Rafe sighed, rolling his tongue against his teeth.

"The line was disconnected, Rafe. I was fine, I am fine." Maddy shrugged.

"What if it wasn't, what if you touched the wires and you died. Hm? Do you have any idea how crazy you drive me?" Rafe asked, downing the rest of his beer and taking steps closer to Maddy to which she took one's back.

"Rafe... it was just a prank." Maddy said, shrugging slightly.

"Just a prank, hm? What is you thought the were disconnected but they weren't. Topper wouldn't have you, your parents wouldn't have you. Sarah wouldn't have her best friend. For gods sake, I wouldn't have you." Rafe rambled, "Promise me you won't do that again."

"Okay, I promise." Maddy said quickly, nodding slightly.

"Good." Rafe smiled, kissing her forehead before walking away.

What the actual fuck? Maddy thought, watching the boy walk away.
