Somewhere above New Mexico, United States of America- - -
I woke up from a seemingly rough sleep... and rough it was. I was in a helicopter, with the government? Not good.
"Well well... Look who finally decided to wake up." an unknown man stated, seemingly some sort of military general or something. I looked around the helicopter, confused.
"You've been quite elusive, but your skills make you worth the catch. You'll be perfect for the job. We've been havin' some issues with a group of thieves known as the Toppat Clan. We know they're guilty, we just can't pin 'em to any crimes. You'll be goin' into their airship to bring 'em down. I don't need to remind you that we've got you on several charges. Attempted robbery... breaking yourself out of prison... and even stealing the Tunisian diamond. We've got quite a lot of counts on you. Do this job right, and we'll drop all charges against you."
I nodded my head in both reluctance and confusion, but at the same time I definitely wanted those charges dropped.
"Charlie here will be bringing you close to the airship. The rest is up to you. Find a way to bring 'em down and you'll be a free man."
"Hey, uh, how do you want me to bring you in?" Charles shouted from the cockpit.
I took an earpiece from the captain before dropping onto the roof of the airship, watching Charles' chopper fly further away again as I got into position.
"Check check, this is Charles." he said to me from the radio. "Just thought I'd give you a heads up. Uhh, there's a guy down there. A bad guy. So, uh, yeah. Good luck."
I stared at the hatch at my feet. How was I going to go about getting inside the airship? With a giant vacuum of course. I attached it to the hatch and switched it on. I watched two men get sucked into the dust bag, yelling from the inside. Ignoring their pleas, I would lift up the vacuum to finally give me entry into the airship.
"Hey good job there!" Charles came back on the radio, luckily to praise me. "Oh, uh, so you should probably look for something incriminating. Something that we can use to prove that they're criminals, you know? I mean, that's the whole point of this operation."
"Alright gentlemen, we've been tasked with developing new weapons for the clan. Any ideas?"
Unfortunately for me, I was next to a meeting room, with many high ranking Toppats in the room directly next to me.
"I was kinda thinking-"
Before I could listen to the rest of the conversation, I found some glue lying around on a chair close to where I came in. I squirted it onto my hands and began to climb up the wall, to unexpected success.
"Naw, we can't do that." one of the Toppats said, replying to another one of their colleagues as I climbed over the top of them.
"Why not, man?"
"You do realise how much a solid gold cannon would weigh, don't ya?"
I observed the meeting from above, actually pretty interested.
"Dude, we totally got enough power! What do you think, man?"
