Chapter 522 - The Manoban Family's Old House Part V

When Jane and her group of sidekicks saw that their words weren't affecting Jennie as they expected, they got angry and started insulting her to try and get a reaction from her.

"Who do you think you are, Jennie Kim?! You're nothing but a whore who seduced Lisa! We'll never accept you to our family! Get away from our cousin! We don't want you here! You dirty slut—"

"How dare you speak like that to my future wife?!!!"

Lisa interrupted Jane's insults towards Jennie. He appeared and marched towards the group of young females with a cold and furious expression on his face. There were other people following behind him. Chitthip looked horrified at the scene while Grandma's cold and furious expression looked very similar to her grandson's. Geo and the other older members of the branch families were also there.

In Lisa's hand was his phone set on loudspeaker. Every insulting words Jane and the other girls threw at Jennie were heard by Lisa and everyone.

When the girls became more aggressive in ganging up on her, Jennie instructed Louis to call Lisa in Russian so that Jane and the others wouldn't understand her. Louis immediately obeyed and called his daddy while he was discussing business with Geo and the others in another room.

The white cat sent his daddy a dramatic SOS call, prompting Lisa to rush to his baby girl. Louis directed him to his mommy's exact location.

Back to the present, Jane and her group of sidekicks were shocked when Lisa and the other adults appeared. They became scared because they were literally caught in the act of trying to bully Jennie.

Grandma glared at the girls before turning to Geo and the other older members of the branch families behind her.

"So this is how you teach your children to act? How uncouth and barbaric! What a shame to our family! Truly not deserving of our respected name! My husband would be ashamed of all of you if he were here! He worked so hard to lift the Manobans to the top and yet you, the younger generation, are doing everything you can to tarnish it! Shameful! Utterly shameful!"

Geo's expression was very ugly right now. There was an unwillingness to accept Grandma's scolding, especially when it was about his own beloved daughter, but he didn't want to offend the matriarch either. He turned to his daughter instead and gave her a warning look.

The same unwillingness appeared on Jane's expression.

"Apologize to Ruby!" Lisa commanded Jane and the other girls.

No response.

Jane and the other girls were now looking at the floor. Most of them were quaking. However, Jane's body was stiff and stubborn. It was obvious that she didn't want to apologize to Jennie.

This made Lisa even more furious.

"APOLOGIZE TO HER RIGHT NOW!!!!!"

His furious roar was so loud that it echoed throughout the entire length of the long hallway. It made everyone jump and look at him in shock. This was the first time seeing and hearing him so furious. He always looked cold and indifferent. Yet now his hot fury exploded like a volcano, burning everyone with it.

Jane and the other girls burst into tears. Their Cousin Lisa was too scary!!!

"No! I hate Jennie Kim!" Jane shrieked. She cast all cautiousness aside and openly defied Lisa. "Why do you want to marry her?! She's just a celebrity, a normal celebrity! Not even a superstar like Big Brother V! What's more, she didn't go to college. She's not suitable for you! Diana is the one who's more suitable to be your wife and the next Madam of our clan! We're also more familiar and friendly with her. Diana is a very great lady, not like this Jennie Kim who has a rotten reputation in high society. We all hate her! What's so great about this bitch?! I HATE HER!!! DON'T MARRY HER!!!"

"Jane, stop! Stop it!!!" Geo was now on full panic mode. He hurried to his daughter and literally covered her mouth with his hand to make her stop talking.

Jane struggled against her father and freed her mouth. "Why are you trying to stop me, dad? You said the same thing! That Jennie Kim is unsuitable to be our next madam, that Diana is more suitable and that she'll bring Manoban Corporation and our clan to greater heights, unlike this Jennie who only knows how to sing and dance and seduce everyone with her beauty!"

"No manners! No class at all!" Grandma's cold voice towards his daughter stabbed Geo in the heart.

The usually pleasant Chitthip was now wearing a cold expression as well.

"Diana who?" Jennie asked all of a sudden. Her head tilted to the side. She had an impassive expression, as if all of these people weren't arguing about her. Then she turned to Lisa and asked, "Hon, who's this Diana that they keep on talking about? Is she your ex-girlfriend?"

Lisa scowled but decided to play along with his baby girl. "Of course not. She's nobody in my personal life, just a mere employee in Manoban Corporation."

"Oh, I see. But is she really better than me like what they say?"

"Nonsense. Someone like her can't possibly compare to your greatness. She doesn't even deserve to carry your high heels."

Their indirect lovey-dovey conversation shocked the branch families. They began looking at Lisa in a weird way, especially Geo.

"What a joke! What are you talking about? Diana is the best woman for you!" Jane reacted. "Can't compare to this bitch? Don't even deserve to carry this bitch's high heels? You're mistaken! It's the other way around! It's this bitch who can't compare to Big Sis Diana! It's this bitch who doesn't deserve to carry Diana's high heels! Diana has a business degree from the same American Ivy league university you graduated from! Where is this bitch educated? From the sewers, that's where!"

"The one that was educated from the sewers is your dirty mouth! How dare you speak like that in my home?! Do you think that this is your own house and that you can say and do whatever you like here?" Chitthip snapped. She finally couldn't take it anymore.

"Madam, please calm yourself. Jane—I mean, my daughter Jane is still very young. Don't worry, I'll make sure to lecture my daughter later. She won't do it again," Geo said, trying to placate her.

Chitthip didn't reply. Grandma snorted in cold derision.

"You still haven't apologized to Ruby," Lisa said through gritted teeth.

"I already said that I hate Jennie Kim so I'm not gonna apologize to a bitch like her!!!"

"Jane, stop it," Geo covered his daughter's mouth once again.

"GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE!!!" Lisa roared. "As the current family head, I am officially cutting your entire branch family off from the Manoban clan! From now on, your branch family no longer has anything to do with our clan! GET OUT OF HERE AND NEVER COME BACK!!!"
