As Harriet walked back toward the Refuge, Teddy nestled securely in her arms, her heart felt lighter. The moon hung high in the sky, casting a gentle glow over the forest path. They had narrowly escaped a dangerous misunderstanding, but now they were united again—stronger than ever.

However, as they approached a bend in the road, a rustling sound echoed through the trees, and before Harriet could fully process it, a lively trio burst into view.

"Whoa! Look at that!" Zenitsu exclaimed, his eyes wide with a mix of surprise and admiration. His golden hair caught the moonlight, framing his youthful face as he pointed excitedly at Harriet and Teddy.

"Is that who I think it is?" Tanjiro chimed in, his kind demeanor shining through. He stood tall, his trademark green checkered haori billowing slightly in the night breeze.

"She's even more impressive up close!" Inosuke shouted, his boar mask partially hiding a look of awe. He stepped forward, brimming with enthusiasm and wild energy. "I wanna test her strength!"

Harriet chuckled softly at the trio, a warm feeling blossoming in her chest as she looked at them. They remind me so much of my own kids, she thought fondly. So full of spirit and courage, yet still so young.

"Easy there, boys," she said playfully, setting Teddy down but keeping a protective hand on his shoulder. "You're treating me like I'm some legendary warrior. I'm just a mother who wants to protect her son."

Teddy, feeling emboldened by his mother's presence, looked up at the trio, his eyes shining with curiosity. "Mom, can we invite them to the village? They look like they could use a good meal!"

Zenitsu's eyes widened, and he nodded vigorously. "Yes! Food! I can't turn down food!" He clasped his hands together, his enthusiasm infectious.

"That sounds great, but we can't just—" Tanjiro began, but he was cut off by Inosuke, who charged ahead, arms outstretched.

"What's your village like? Is it full of strong warriors? I want to see who's stronger!" Inosuke challenged, his competitive spirit evident.

Harriet smiled, finding their eagerness endearing. "It's a village for the forgotten, a place where we come together to grow stronger and support one another. You would be welcomed with open arms."

Teddy beamed up at her, feeling proud. "See, Mom? They could be our friends! And I can show them the training grounds!"

Just then, Zenitsu leaned closer, his expression turning serious. "But wait... we heard the Hashira were judging someone. Was that you?"

The mood shifted slightly as Harriet remembered the tension back at Kagaya's residence. "Yes, but it was a misunderstanding. They've learned not to judge too quickly."

Tanjiro stepped forward, his gaze soft yet firm. "Everyone deserves a second chance. If they mistreated you, we will stand with you."

Harriet's heart warmed at his words. Such kindness and wisdom at such a young age, she thought. These boys truly embody what it means to protect others.

"Thank you," she replied sincerely. "That means a lot."

Just then, Teddy tugged at her sleeve, his voice a whisper filled with excitement. "Mom, can we really invite them? Please?"

Harriet looked down at her son, noting the eagerness in his eyes, and sighed, knowing how much this meant to him. "Alright, but let's keep it discreet. We can't draw too much attention to the village."

As if on cue, Tanjiro's expression shifted to one of understanding. "We'll be careful. We just want to learn more about you and your village."

"Kagaya also asked us to gather information," Zenitsu added, his tone suddenly serious. "He said it's important for the fight against Muzan."

Harriet's heart quickened at the mention of Muzan's name. They know about him too?

"Yes," she said, her tone grave. "The fight against him is ongoing, and every piece of information counts."

Inosuke jumped in, his competitive nature reignited. "Then let's get stronger together! I want to see how you train!"

"You're welcome to join us," Harriet replied, a spark of hope igniting in her chest. "We've all faced challenges that have shaped us. Together, we can become even stronger."

With a nod of agreement, the group began to walk together, Harriet leading the way back to the Refuge. Teddy walked alongside her, filled with excitement at the prospect of new friends.

"Mom, can I show them my training routine?" he asked eagerly.

"Of course, but remember to let them show you what they can do too," Harriet replied, pride swelling in her chest.

As they moved deeper into the woods, the atmosphere around them shifted. This feels right, Harriet thought. Together, we are a family of warriors, united by purpose and understanding.

With each step, the bond between them strengthened, weaving a thread of camaraderie that would guide them through the challenges ahead. In this moment, under the stars and the soft glow of the moon, Harriet felt a glimmer of hope for a future where love and strength would conquer the darkness that loomed on the horizon.
