As the years flowed like the river nearby, the Refuge blossomed, its reputation spreading like wildfire. The villagers, once mere echoes of their past selves, transformed into fierce defenders under Harriet's watchful eye. With her guidance, they learned to wield swords imbued with wisteria, and protective barriers surrounded the village, offering an extra layer of safety.

Harriet stood in the center of the training grounds, observing the rhythmic clang of metal against metal. Young warriors practiced diligently, their wisteria-infused swords gleaming in the sunlight. Among them, Teddy, now nearly twelve, moved with a determination that made Harriet swell with pride.

"Keep your stance low, Teddy! Balance is key!" Harriet called out, her voice cutting through the morning air.

He's grown so much, she thought, her heart warm with affection. From a little boy to a strong warrior.

After the training session, Harriet gathered everyone around her, their expressions a mix of excitement and apprehension.

"Listen carefully! While we have our swords and protective barriers, we must also learn the strength of our minds and spirits," Harriet instructed, her gaze steady. "The demons we face are cunning, but we are stronger together! United, we can push back the darkness that threatens our home."

A villager, worry etched on his face, stepped forward. "But what if they breach our defenses? What if we aren't enough?" His voice trembled slightly, revealing his fear.

Harriet knelt beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We will be enough! We are a family now," she reassured him, her voice firm yet gentle. "Each one of you brings something valuable to this fight. Remember the stories of our ancestors. They stood tall against the shadows, and so shall we!"

Teddy, feeling the weight of the moment, stepped forward with a fierce look in his eyes. "I won't let anything happen to our home! I'm training hard to be like you, Mom!" His determination radiated, sparking hope in the hearts of those around him.

Such bravery, Harriet mused, her heart swelling with pride. He's becoming a guardian in his own right.

After the meeting, Harriet noticed Teddy practicing a few sword movements on his own. She walked over, her heart swelling with love. "Teddy, remember to breathe and focus on your movements. Let the sword guide you, not the other way around."

He turned, his brow furrowed in concentration. "I know, Mom. But I want to be as strong as you! You're the Guardian of the Forgotten!" His voice echoed with admiration, and Harriet couldn't help but smile at his earnestness.

"Strength comes from understanding your fears, too," Harriet said softly. "Even I have fears, but it's how we face them that makes us strong."

Their moment was interrupted by a nearby villager, who approached hesitantly. "Harriet, can we talk? It's about the next training session," he asked, shifting nervously.

Harriet nodded, instantly attentive. "Of course! What's on your mind?"

"I've been thinking... we could organize a night watch, something to prepare us for any sudden attacks. Your training has helped us immensely, but having a plan for the night might help ease our worries," he suggested.

Harriet's heart swelled at the initiative. "That's an excellent idea! We can form a schedule and ensure everyone gets the rest they need while staying vigilant. You're showing great leadership," she praised.
