As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the wisteria-lined garden, the meeting between Harriet, Kagaya, and the Hashira began to draw to a close. Harriet had bared her soul to them, revealing the depth of her power, her purpose, and the intense desire to protect what she had built. The atmosphere, once charged with skepticism, now brimmed with a sense of trust and mutual respect.

Harriet took a deep breath, her mind racing with the possibilities that lay ahead. She looked up, meeting Kagaya's serene gaze. "I have a proposal," she began, her voice steady and determined.

The Hashira turned their attention to her, their expressions reflecting their newfound respect for the woman who had so quickly become their equal, if not their superior, in terms of strength and leadership.

"You've seen the strength of my village," Harriet continued. "The people there aren't just survivors. They've become warriors in their own right, dedicated to protecting each other and pushing back the darkness. But I know that the threat we face—Muzan and his demons—will only grow stronger." Her voice tightened, but she remained composed. "I believe that if we combine our strengths, we can create something greater than we ever imagined."

Kagaya tilted his head slightly, his ever-gentle expression showing interest. "What are you suggesting, Harriet?"

Harriet took a step forward, her eyes filled with conviction. "I propose that you, your family, and the Hashira join me in The Refuge. Move to my village and make it your home. Together, we can protect the people, not just from demons, but from the despair that comes with being forgotten. You can continue your mission, your duty as Hashira, but with the added strength of the community I've built."

For a moment, silence settled over the group. The Hashira exchanged glances, each of them considering the weight of her words.

"You're suggesting we leave the Ubuyashiki residence?" Giyu asked, his voice as calm as ever, though there was a flicker of curiosity in his usually stoic eyes.

Harriet nodded. "Yes. My village has the resources to house and protect everyone. You wouldn't need to abandon your duties or the larger mission to defeat Muzan. On the contrary, it would provide a stronger base of operations. A sanctuary. And I believe that by living among the people we protect, we can understand their struggles more deeply, which will only make us stronger."

Shinobu folded her arms, her expression thoughtful. "It's an intriguing idea. We could train the villagers alongside your own and build a more united force. But what about your village? Would they be comfortable living with us, considering the differences in rank and responsibilities?"

Harriet smiled slightly, shaking her head. "My people don't care about rank. They care about action. They've already welcomed Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko into the fold. They've seen the way you fight, the way you protect. They'll welcome you with open arms."

"And what about the logistics?" Sanemi asked, his tone as sharp as ever, though even he seemed less abrasive after Harriet's earlier display of strength. "We have our ways of operating, our missions. Wouldn't living in one village tie us down, make us vulnerable?"

Harriet looked directly at him, her voice unwavering. "I'm not asking you to stay forever. The village can be your home, a safe haven to return to. You'll still be free to carry out your missions, but now, you'll have a place to regroup and recover. And think of the tactical advantages. A united base where everyone is protected and trained to fight demons? Muzan won't see it coming."

Kagaya had remained silent, listening carefully to the entire conversation. Now, he turned toward his Hashira, his soft-spoken words commanding the room. "Harriet's proposal is not without merit. In fact, I believe it may be the best path forward."

The Hashira turned to him, their expressions attentive. Kagaya's faith in them had always guided their actions, and now it would guide this decision as well.

"We've spent years fighting in the shadows, each of us dedicated to the cause, but fragmented in our efforts," Kagaya continued. "What Harriet suggests could strengthen us in ways we haven't yet considered. A central location, a community of warriors and guardians, and a fortified base of operations—these are things we've always lacked. It may be time to think of ourselves not just as protectors, but as part of something larger."

Mitsuri's face lit up with enthusiasm. "It sounds wonderful! I've always thought about what it would be like to live in a place where we're all united in more than just fighting."

Gyomei, ever the wise and reflective one, nodded in agreement. "Harriet's village is already a place of strength and sanctuary. Expanding its reach could offer more protection to those who need it."

Sanemi crossed his arms but nodded, begrudgingly accepting the logic of the plan. "Fine. If it gives us an edge against Muzan, I'm in."

Harriet felt a wave of relief as each Hashira, one by one, agreed to her proposal. Finally, she turned back to Kagaya, who smiled warmly.

"We will prepare to move to your village, Harriet," Kagaya said softly. "I believe this will be the beginning of a new chapter for all of us."

Harriet smiled, the weight of her earlier anger and fear lifting. "Thank you, Kagaya. I promise you, The Refuge will be a safe haven for all who live there."

As the meeting concluded, the Hashira began making plans for the move. Harriet left Kagaya's residence with a sense of determination. I'll make sure The Refuge remains a place of strength, a home for those who fight against the darkness.

Her thoughts turned to Teddy and the others waiting for her back at the village. We'll be stronger together. This is just the beginning.

As the Hashira and their families began their preparations to join The Refuge, the whispers of hope began to spread. The Refuge, once a hidden sanctuary, was about to become the heart of the fight against Muzan. With the combined strength of the Demon Slayer Corps and the villagers Harriet had nurtured, the tide of the battle was about to turn.
