"Well someone looks tired." Aika chuckled.
Lucian was slumped over the table motionless as he had no more strength left. One of William's Voodoo dolls even began poking him in the head.
Lucian didn't know that being a hero was so tiring. He had spent the entirety of yesterday training in that endless maze. Either it was getting bitten by a monster, or getting swung away by a hammer, he just couldn't get how to do it!
"Alright! Here goes nothing!" Lucian shouted, charging into the maze.
'Ooh... I think he went in at the wrong time..." Trias observed.
"No doubt." Aika agreed.
Sure enough, Lucian hit a hammer and swung back to where Aika and Trias stood. Not only did he fail, but he also bled from the sharp spikes on the ground and hammer.
"Recover." Aika said.
Immediately, Lucian was standing back up. His wounds were completely healed and there were no longer blood stains or puncture wounds.
"How...?"
"It's an ability. Not one of my favorites because of how easy it makes things." Aika explained.
"Okay kid, get back in there! You're wasting time. You know this will take all day!" Trias shouted at Lucian.
Trias' arm suddenly deformed and became a long fleshy tentacle covered in eyes. He grabbed Lucian by the collar of his shirt and threw him back up into the maze.
"Ahhhh!!!" Lucian screamed.
Lucian was forced to do the same things again. But this time, he made it past the hammers.
"It wouldn't hurt to be a little nicer, you know." Aika sighed.
"You know that the only person I'm really nice to is you." Trias grinned, flashing his razor-sharp teeth.
"Then change that habit!" Aika blushed.
As Trias continued to flirt with Aika, Lucian was flung back once again by a monster. While two people were flirting, he was suffering. But he couldn't complain, since it was part of the process.
"Recover." Aika ordered once again, "Well, looks like you'll have to keep doing this until you get it right!" Aika chuckled.
"What?!"
"What happened?" Tinker asked.
"Well, he went through the maze a few too many times," Aika said, sipping her tea.
"He couldn't even handle that?" Uriel was astonished.
"Ahh, don't be so rude. He hasn't trained once in his life!" Trias chuckled, putting an arm over Uriel's shoulder.
"Get your hand off me," Uriel growled.
"Jee, no need to get so angry, son." Trias laughed, removed his arm, and laid back in his seat.
"Son?" Lucian asked.
"He's not my father." Uriel sighed.
"Uriel, he technically is." Aika smiled.
"B-but..."
"See, you have no choice but to accept that my Aika isn't your only parent anymore!" Trias cackled, clearly enjoying Uriel's annoyed face.
