📍Hezekiah’s House

_

Levania followed his brother up the stairs while also taking in the beautiful scenery. Pictures of Hezekiah during his high school and college years lined the walls like a collage of memories.

"Ok Heze, it's very decorative, very opulent, very demure." Levania said while clicking his thumb and pointer finger together.

Hezekiah side eyed him before shaking his head with a chuckle.

"Don't say that shit eva again in yo life bruh." He said, his accent slipping through a little, and Levania mugged the back of his head.

"Hatin' ass bitch..." He whispered under his breath and Hezekiah gave him a look over his shoulder.

"What was that?" He said, his tone dropping a few octaves that sent a nervous shiver up Levania's spine.

"Nothing." Hezekiah looked him up and down "Mhmm." He expressed before continuing up the stairs.

'Yea he got it..' Levania thought as a brief memory of Hezekiah whooping his ass passed through his mind.

They came to a stop in front of a white door, and Hezekiah turned the golden knob before gently pushing the door open.

Levania stood at the threshold of his new bedroom, taking in the breathtaking expanse that seemed to shimmer with ethereal light. The morning sun poured through the large window, casting brilliant rays that danced on the fluffy, carpeted floor. It was a room defined by its simplicity. Yet, in its purity, it held an entrancing elegance that made his heart thrum with excitement.

The walls, painted a luminous cloud-white, reached elegantly to the ceiling, where a shallow opening laid wrapped in bright LED lights, casting delicate shapes that flickered across the room. Each time he stole a glance at it, he felt as if he were gazing up at the morning rays, illuminating a delicate halo over him that he very much appreciated.

His bed was the centerpiece, standing majestically against one wall. It was a large, king-sized mattress, laid comfortably against a simplistic frame and draped in flowing white coverings that billowed softly, resembling clouds. Plush, oversized pillows were stacked high against the headboard, their silky covers inviting him to sink into their embrace. Levania imagined those pillows would be his confidants in the nights he shared secrets and dreams beneath the cloaking darkness. He was a rather imaginative young man.

Against the window, large curtains hung like elegant waterfalls, a subtler shade of white that gently framed the view of the huge piece of glass.

Scattered throughout the room were touches of his personality: a sleek floating desk adorned with a simple plant ready for him to nurture. A shelf filled with cute collectibles stood tall against the wall near the window. A large teddy bear shaped stone cushion laid flat against against the wide flooring.

On the opposite side of the room stood two doors, much similar to the one at the entrance. He opened the one nearest to the main door, and an involuntary gasp escaped his lips.

It was as if he had been transported into the heart of a winter wonderland, where every surface glistened with pristine brilliance. The room was expansive, a symphony of whites and soft grays. It was a sanctuary of serenity, reflecting his style while inviting him to bask in its luxurious embrace.

The floors were laid with large porcelain tiles, white with delicate veins of gray that mimicked the swirling patterns of marble. Each step he took felt cool and smooth beneath his bare feet, echoing the calmness he sought after a long day of travel. A heated towel rack adorned the wall, its polished chrome gleaming, while fluffy gray towels hung like rainclouds waiting to be wrapped around him.
