"Ma, you seen my slides?" Kash asked, a look of annoyance on his face as he stared at his husband.
Levania looked at him through the vanity mirror as he clasped his locket around his neck.
"In the bathroom. You left them there when you were trimming your beard earlier." Levania spoke, sliding open the draw to his right and pulling out his favorite Gloss Bomb Heat from Fenty Beauty.
The couple was happily for two years now, their wedding happening exactly one month after Kash's proposal.
Their wedding was one for the books as Levania's impeccable taste for design shone brightly on their special day.

The grand cathedral, a testament to centuries of faith and craftsmanship, hummed with a different kind of energy. It wasn't the hushed reverence of Sunday mass, but a vibrant, almost palpable excitement. Sunlight, filtered through the stained-glass saints and prophets, painted the stone floor in a mosaic of jeweled colors. This was Levania's canvas, and today, it was a masterpiece dedicated to his love for Kash.
Levania, a psychologist with an artist's soul, had spent months meticulously planning, not just the wedding, but its very atmosphere. He hadn't simply booked a venue. He had breathed life into its ancient bones, transforming it into a sanctuary of their shared dreams.
The altar, usually austere, was draped in swathes of ivory silk that shimmered like captured moonlight. Instead of the usual somber arrangements, cascading vines of jasmine and wisteria, their delicate blossoms spilling over the edges, softened the hard lines. The air was thick with their sweet, heady fragrance, mingling with the subtle scent of burning frankincense. Every detail, from the hand-stitched pew cushions in a pristine white to the tiny, individually lit votive candles nestled amongst the floral arrangements, spoke of Levania’s dedication, his eye for beauty, and his deeply romantic heart.
The lighting was masterful. Rather than relying solely on the cathedral's existing fixtures, Levania had introduced carefully placed spotlights, bathing certain areas in pools of gentle radiance and leaving others in contemplative shadow. It was a dance of light and dark that emphasized the cathedral’s soaring arches and intricate stone carvings, creating a sense of heightened grandeur. During the ceremony, when the stained-glass windows were bathed in the late afternoon sun, the colors cast a kaleidoscopic glow on the participants, making them look almost ethereal.
The guests, a mix of close friends and family, murmured in awe as they navigated the space. They weren't just attending a wedding. They were experiencing a piece of art. The floral arrangements, designed by Levania himself, were anything but ordinary. Instead of typical roses and lilies, he had chosen rare, almost fantastical blooms in hues of deep amethyst, soft peach, and creamy white. They were arranged not in symmetrical patterns, but in organic, flowing forms, mimicking the way flowers actually grew in nature. Every single bloom was a testament to the beauty of the universe, a reflection of the love that had brought them all together.
Even the music was a deliberate choice. A string quartet played a selection of classical music that was both uplifting and soulful, their notes rising to the vaulted ceiling and echoing in the vast space. It wasn't simply background music. It was an integral part of the atmosphere, enhancing the emotional depth of the day. Each piece had been carefully chosen by Levania and Kash together, songs that spoke to their shared experiences, their hopes, and their love story.
