An Illicit Affairs

-Secret Meet-up-

I arrived at the house at 4:30 am and climbed the ladder to my bedroom and changed into my sleepwear and laying down on my bed I pulled the blanket up to me and finally slept.

-Timeskip to 8:55 am-

I woke up and went downstairs

Where were you last night? My father asked

Just went somewhere for a walk. I said clearly lying

A walk so late in the night? and you weren't home till like the crack of dawn. My dad said

I lost track of time. I said as an excuse

You know how dangerous going out late in the night is? Dad said

Sorry it won't happen again. Dad said

Let her be. She's twenty one she can handle herself. Mom said

Fine. I'll let it slide this time and don't do anything reckless Dad said

Okay.. I said and left the room and went to the bathroom to shower.

I stepped into the shower and let the cold water wash away all the exhaustion from last night. The chill was refreshing, grounding me in the present moment, but it couldn't wash away the thoughts racing through my mind. Meeting Heeseung, sneaking back home at dawn - it felt reckless, but at the same time, it was the only thing keeping me sane in this world of political expectations and family pressure.

As the water ran down my back, I thought about my father's reaction if he ever found out where I'd really been. The truth felt too dangerous to tell, not just for me but for Heeseung too. My dad had always been vocal about his rivalry with Heeseung's father, and the idea of me being involved with Heeseung? That would be an absolute scandal.

As i finished showering i quickly changed my clothes to a new one and went downstairs.

I sat down on the dining table and ate my breakfast while my thoughts are drifting to heeseung every time.

Girl you're awfully silent. Hyunjae said

Ahh its nothing bro just tired from last night. I said

You sure its not Heeseung in your head right now? Hyunjae teased and i lightly hit his arm

Shut up bro. I said while a smile tugged a the corner of my lips
