Korvin grew up in isolation, completely detached from the outside world. His parents believed that keeping him close to his uncle Adelaire and within the confines of Trinity Island was the best way to shield him from the negative influences of the outside world. They aimed to show him that the Earth was being remade, a vision of a future in their hands.
Korvin (narrating): "And so it grew, flourished, preparing to be the pure successor."
A montage follows, showing Korvin's childhood, from his early years to his days in elementary school.
But a looming question remains: When will this be made public? Even now, the world continues to support Davo and Adelaire's environmental collaboration, but only out of necessity, as many believe the funds would be better spent elsewhere. There needs to be a movement—a catalyst that will silence all doubts and force the world to listen. Davo and Adelaire have a plan for that.
Korvin (narrating): "Dreams are alive, too—they can change at any moment, transforming everything."
In the office, Adelaire and Davo are deep in discussion.
Adelaire: "Let's send the revised proposal we worked on yesterday. Let them know who we are!"
Davo: "And let them find out about our project, or worse, threaten to destroy this place. Do you understand why this place is isolated?"
Adelaire: "But how long are we going to live in our own little world? Don't we want to change the world with our dream?"
Davo: "But we need to do it the right way."
Adelaire: "Good grief, Davo! What other way is there? Are we just going to keep waiting like this? Fine, if you insist, I'll go along with it." (He shakes his head in disbelief at Davo's stubbornness.)
Davo: "If you want to quit, feel free."
Adelaire: "What? Hey, listen! If I wanted to quit..."
Suddenly, little Korvin enters the room as the door swings open.
Korvin: "Hi, Dad! Hi, Uncle Adelaire. I'm home!"
Davo: "Hello, my boy."
Adelaire: "Hey there, champ. Why are you home so early?"
Korvin, hugging his father Davo: "Well, it's elementary school, what do you expect, Uncle?"
They all laugh.
Davo: "Where's your mother? Go see her first; she must be missing you. Dad needs to finish talking with Uncle."
Korvin: "I want to join in! You must be talking about that 'purple monster' again, right?"
Adelaire: "Purple monster?"
Korvin: "Yeah. It looks like..."
Davo interrupts: "It's too frightening to be a toy. We'll get rid of it later. Right, Buddy?"
Korvin: "But?..."
Davo: "We'll take care of it later, okay? Now go to your mother; she's probably missing you too. Dad and Uncle need to talk."
Adelaire: "Listen to your dad, champ."
Korvin, pouting: "Fine, you guys are no fun." (He exits the room, running back to the house.)
Davo: "Ah, that boy. He's getting so smart, and his imagination is wild."
Adelaire: "Yes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. But children are honest and innocent. So, tell me... what is this monster your son mentioned?"
Davo: "Oh, Adelaire, do you believe..."
Adelaire interrupts: "I do! Now show me. We've been friends a long time, haven't we? You said we're like brothers, right? I know when you're lying or not! And the same goes for me."
Davo remains silent, shaking his head. He moves toward a nearby monitor.
Korvin (narrating): "A thing for something."
