"I'm so sorry, but Jane has passed away." a man told Ava. Ava dropped to her knees on the floor. Tears rolling down her face. She let out a scream. Ava rolled to her side. "Why, Why?!" Ava shouted out between her cries.

ᒍᗩᗪIE

"What jewelry box?" Jadie texted.
"Don't play games with me!" The anonymous person texted back.
"Why do you want it?"
"Stop asking questions. Sit out the jewelry box on the back porch or else."

Jadie went to work. She worked at a little antique shop.

Kate put on her pants and shirt. She left Richards house. Bing! Kate looked down at her phone. Text messagee from Ava.
"Come to my house soon as possible.
Ava took a quick right turn and headed to Ava's house.
Kate ran up to the front door. She rang the doorbell. Ava opened the door. it was obvious Ava had been bawling. Her eyes and cheeks red. "Ava, what's wrong?" "It's-it's my grandma. She is. She is dead." Ava's eyes filled with tears until they started spilling down. "Ava, I'm so sorry hear that." Kate said as she gave Ava a big hug.

Jadie got home from work. She walked into her bedroom to find a mess. Clothes were thrown out of drawers, her closet doors were open, books thrown off the bookshelf, but creepiest of it all was one word. Written in blood on her mirror. BEWARE.

"She was more than my grandma, she was a friend and guardian," Ava said with the smallest smile. "Your grandma was a wonderful women," "Thank you Kate. You have a date with Richard in fifteen minutes. You better get going." Ava said. "Are you sure? I can cancel."
"No, go have a good time."

"Why do they want the jewelry box?" Jadie thought to herself. Jadie decided to hide her jewelry box at the antique shop. Hopefully no one would find it at her work.

"I want to invite you two to my grandma's funeral. You guys were really close to her. She considered you guys family like I did. You guys were about all we had. That is why I want to invite you both." Ava said to Jadie and Kate. "I would love too." Kate said. "Me too." Jadie said with a big grin.

"We are gathered here today in honor of Jane LuLa Estelle. Let's have a prayer. God please keep Jane's family and friends strong and help them realize that Jane is in a better place. God please don't let anyone forget about how caring and kind Janee was. In Jesus name we pray, amen." The preacher stepped away and ushered Ava to come up.

Ava slowly walked to the microphone. "Jane was my grandma, mother, and friend. We shared lots of things in common. Our favorite flowers were yellow roses, our favorite dessert was peach cobbler, our favorite color was red, our favorite holiday was Christmas. I think my grandma stopped me from going insane. She was wonderful. Magnificent. Rest in peace grandma. I will always love you. Save me a seat next to you in heaven."

Ava went out to the graveyard. She found her grandma's grave. Jane LuLa Estelle 1937-2015 R.I.P.
