(Cream is 12 and Tails is 14)
The gang was all sitting together at a slumber party. Laughing and joking as the night went on. However as soon as everybody began to just finally sleep a certain Rabbit sat up.
Cream tried her best to sleep but lately her dreams had been plaguing her, each one worse than the next.
She asked Shadow for help once and he was definitely the best person to ask for help from.
past Shadow: "Just focus on the things that bring you joy... even if it hurts a little it is still better than feeling surrounded by the demons you hold inside."
Although to her it felt like he was talking to himself, his advice was safe and sure.
Tails: "Mmm Cream? Why are you still awake?"
Cream: "O-oh. Sorry Tails... I didn't mean to wake you up I was just.... just...."
Tears began to well up.
Tails: "Hey... hey it's okay."
He silently crept towards her and pull her into a warm embrace.
Tails: "I got you. Nothing is going to hurt you as long as I am here. I promise."
Cream buried herself against his soft chest.
Cream: "I-I keep having these nightmares... they just keep getting worse."
Tails: "I'll keep the nightmares away, just rest. I've got you."
She fell asleep peacefully. Not a single nightmare came that night.
