A/N: Okay, so I'm skipping a lot. We all know the main part of the story really starts after the Masquerade episode. But here's an overview of what happened first.
So here's what happened:
- Lexi came into town
- Bonnie told Elena and Sophia she was a witch
- Sophia told Bonnie and Elena she was a witch, too.
That went a little something like this:
Bonnie knocked on the door of the Gilbert house. Sophia answered it.
"Hey, Bon." Sophia says
"Hey. I've been trying to get a hold of Elena." Bonnie says
"She's in her room. She hasn't left her bed."
"What? Why not?"
"Fight with Stefan, I think." Sophia says. "How about we go cheer her up?" Sophia asks. She may be mad at Elena, but Elena is still her sister and she doesn't want her hurting.
"Let's go." Bonnie says. The two girls go to Elena's door and walk in her room. "You up?" Bonnie asks Elena
"No." Elena says. Bonnie and Sophia look at each other and go and pull the covers off Elena. "No! No!" Elena complains
"Why haven't you called me back?" Bonnie asks
"I'm sorry."
"And why are you being a hermit?" Sophia asks
"Yeah. Are you just going to stay in there forever?" Bonnie adds
"Yup." Elena says
Bonnie and Sophia share a look.
"Move over." Bonnie says and each girl gets in the bed on either side of Elena.
"So what's going on, sis?" Sophia asks
"I'm tired of thinking...of talking I..." Elena says
"Can we get a one-line version so we can at least pretend to be helpful?" Bonnie asks
"Stefan and I broke up."
"Sorry, sis. You okay?" Sophia asks. "Nevermind. Really stupid question."
"I've been kind of MIA when you need me the most. I suck." Bonnie says
"You wanna make it up to me. Get my mind off of it."
"Just remember you asked for it." Bonnie says with a smile.
Bonnie closes the window and grabs one of Elena's pillows. She rips it and empties it of the feathers.
"Hey!" Elena complains
"Be patient." Bonnie tells her.
"Okay."
"I need to swear you both to secrecy." Bonnie says
"I swear." Sophia says
"It's kind of a bad week for that kind of stuff." Elena says
"Swear, 'cause I'm not supposed to be showing you this." Bonnie tells her
"Okay, I swear."
"There's no windows open, right?"
"Right"
"There's no fan. No air conditioning."
