Sophia walked out of her room and passed Elena.

"Come on. I'm leaving in 5." Sophia says to her. Elena grabs her jacket and follows Sophia down stairs where they run into Jenna.

"Do I look adult? As in respectfully parental?" Jenna asks

"Depends on where you're going." Elena says

"Jeremy's parent-teacher conference. Hair up or down?" Jenna says before putting her hair up.

"Sexy stewardess." Sophia comments

Jenna puts her hair down.

"Boozy housewife." Elena says

"Go in between. Put half up." Sophia tells her.

"Got it. You two are feisty today." Jenna says

"I'm always feisty." Sophia says with a smirk.

"I feel good, which is rare. So I've decided to go with it. Fly free, walk on the sunshine, and all that stuff. Where is Jeremy?"

"He left early. He said something about going to the art store."

"I didn't think he was doing that stuff anymore." Elena says confused.

"He picked it back up a couple weeks ago. He's been wanting to try using charcoal." Sophia informs them.

"Oh. Good." Jenna says

"Well, we better get to school. Let's go, Elena. Bye Aunt Jenna." Sophia says before kissing her cheek and walking out the front door.

They were in history class. Mr. Tanner was teaching while Elena and Stefan were looking at each other. Sophia looked at them weirdly then shook her head and looked back at Mr. Tanner.

"Originally discovered nearly 5 centuries ago, it hasn't been over Mystic Falls in over 145 years. Now, the comet will be its brightest right after dusk during tomorrow's celebration." Mr. Tanner was lecturing before noticing Stefan and Elena. "Are we bothering you, Mr. Salvatore? Ms. Gilbert?"

Stefan and Elena's gazes snap away from each other and Elena shakes her head to answer Mr. Tanner. The bell rang, indicating the end of the period so all the students left the room.

Bonnie, Caroline, and Sophia were in the hallway watching Stefan and Elena talking. Stefan then gave Elena a book. The girls all share a look and giggle before walking towards their next class. Caroline asks Bonnie a question, getting their conversation back to the topic it was before class.

"I'm confused. Are you psychic or clairvoyant?" Caroline asked Bonnie

"Technically, Grams says I'm a witch. My ancestors were these really cool Salem witch chicks or something. Grams tried to explain it all, but she was looped on the liquor so I kinda tuned it out. Crazy family, yes. Witches? I don't think so." Bonnie explains

"You'd be surprised what kind of things are out there, Bon. Don't disregard the witch stuff just yet, you never know. It could be true." Sophia says.

Bonnie's Gram is the only one that knows about Sophia being a siphon. She caught Sophia doing magic in the woods when she was 13 and made a copy of her grimoire and gave it to her to help her further her training. She never cared that Sophia was a siphon. Most witches see siphons as abominations of nature, but Sheila always treated Sophia as if she were a normal witch, as if she were a person and not some freak of nature and Sophia always appreciated that.

"It all sounds crazy to me." Bonnie says

"That means it could be one hell of an adventure." Sophia says with a smile and the three girls laugh.
