.......
The pitter patter of the rain can be heard...,blood everywhere, this city is no longer what it was once, it's no longer the beautiful and peaceful place everyone knew.....

"Just give up, Matthew.", said Arthur, as he lifted up his gun towards Matthew's head "You can't win, and you know it." he continued.

Matthew and Arthur go way back, they were childhood...well not friends, childhood rivals, their families have always been rivals, from generations...both of them had a sister, Irene, who was Arthur's sister, whereas McKenzie, who was Matthew's sister. They always fought, for everything, they lived in a big city,.. well, it was big once, it still is, the only difference is, it's no longer what it was like, the Madden and Hatz families's rivalry destroyed the city, the Madden family is a villainous family, they could care less about it being destroyed, but the glorious heroic family the hatz family was, the city's destruction didn't sit right with them. Though they tried not to destroy it more, their fights always made it worse...

"Quit it." McKenzie said from behind, she was standing behind Matthew..

"Oh look! McDonalds is here!" Irene laughed as she uttered her words.

"Shut up Irene! And my name is Mckenzie not McDonalds!" McKenzie screamed.

Matthew spoke,"Kenz, let her be, she's just a fool and you  know it-", he was cut off by Arthur as he shifted his gun towards his mouth.

"Mind your words punk. That's my sister your speaking off, besides, shes way better than your 'oh so sweet' Mckenzie" Arthur uttered.

"Oh? You don't want me to talk shit about your sister while you talk shit about mine?" Matthew said, in vexation.

"I didn't talk shit about your sister, I only said my sister was better than her-" just as Arthur was speaking Irene cut him off.

"That's enough brother. He looks like he's about to faint any moment, we came here to ruin thier plans to become better than us, the part where we kill them isn't here yet, so let's just go." Irene said. She looked quite stern while saying so, as if she was mad at Arthur or something, but she wasn't. Arthur noticed this behavior of Irene, being her older brother, he let her be, and listened to her for once, since she was partially right about the killing part.

"....fine, but just remember, we're only letting you two be, because of my sister." Saying that, Arthur left with his sister, they disappeared in an instant.

Irene's POV:

"....fine, but just remember, we're only letting you two be, because of my sister." Saying that, Arthur left with me..as we were on our way back home, I had this heavy feeling in my chest. My heart was throbbing, it was beating too fast..as if something bad is about to happen...

And just when I thought so, a bullet was fired on our car's back....that throbbing feeling in my heart was right. Something bad is going to happen. But what?

Arthur looked back to find the source of the bullet firing. Just to find some sort of gangsters who were our enemies. What the hell? Did we really have to encounter this as we were going home to finally rest? We never have a day off do we?

Fighting off the gangsters we left for home, this time without any problem. We reached home within an hour, the servants greeted us and informed us that mom and dad were already having dinner. Dang it. We're late.

We changed our clothes and entered the dining room. Mom and dad were sitting on the dining table, they hadn't started eating yet as they were waiting for us. Their food looks cold...

"Why didn't you guys eat?" Arthur asked

"Your mother couldn't eat without seeing you two, and since she wasn't eating, I didn't feel like eating either." Dad replied.

"Oh my sweethearts, just what did those good for nothing hatz do that you took so long?" Mom asked. "And you Irene?, you look extremely exhausted my dear!" She continued.

"Oh well, you know these hatz mom they make everything that is easy hard with their so called heroic thought or whatever, plus we encountered some other enemies on our way home." I replied as me and Arthur took our seats.

"I really don't know why the hatz family really sends out their daughter for missions, she looks like a fly" Arthur said.

"That's exactly the reason, she's weak, and she's like a fly as you say, and flies have the characteristics of being able to detect danger, that's why they are hard to kill." Dad replied to Arthur.

"That's true" Arthur said.

We all had our dinner and left for bed. I put on my pajamas and Got in bed, it was still raining outside. I love the rain, the smell of the soil as the rain wets it, the pitter patter sound, and the cozy cold atmosphere. It reminded me of my childhood when we we used to play hide and seek while it rained outside.

I honestly miss being a kid, it's absolutely exhausting to go out and fight a new face every damn day. But I can't do anything about it..can I?...

Thinking of all these things, I fell asleep without even knowing.....

Matthew's POV:

"Kenz you have to do it,this is the only way we can end them and their deeds, so please, be co-operative. It's time that the Maddens get a taste of their own medicine."

To be continued....
