-At Izuku’s apartment
The group had been enjoying the movie when the first loud gunshot pierced the quiet atmosphere. Izuku’s heart skipped a beat as his gaze shot toward the door.
"Was that a gunshot?" Uraraka asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Everyone froze, listening in tense silence. Then, another gunshot echoed, louder this time. Everyone jumped from their seats, alarm spreading like wildfire.
Izuku, his instincts kicking in, quickly moved to the door and opened it. At that same moment, the door to the apartment beside his swung open, and Mina stepped out, her eyes wide with fear.
“Did you guys hear that too?” she asked, her voice shaky.
Before anyone could answer, the stairwell door banged open with a loud crash. Bakugou and Kirishima stormed in, panting heavily. Bloodstains smeared across Bakugou’s bat, and Kirishima clutched a metal rod like it was a lifeline.
Y/N followed close behind them, gun still in hand, the barrel faintly smoking. Her police uniform was smeared with blood, her hands stained in crimson patches. Without wasting a second, she slammed the door shut behind them and locked it.
"Kacchan?" Izuku called out, his voice filled with confusion and concern.
Bakugou, still panting, shot Izuku a look but didn’t respond. His hands were shaking, and the blood-spattered bat gripped in his hand dripped onto the floor.
Iida, who had just emerged from the apartment, stared in disbelief. "Is that… Bakugou and Kirishima?" he asked, bewildered.
The tension in the air was thick enough to cut through. Everyone in the hallway stared at Y/N, waiting for an explanation.
Kirishima spoke up, his voice trembling. "She… she didn’t die. Even after being shot. Twice."
Bakugou nodded, still trying to control his breathing. “Yeah… her head. It’s like that’s the only way.”
Izuku could see the uncertainty and fear on everyone’s faces. He swallowed hard, his mind racing with questions.
"Y/N," he started, stepping forward, his voice low and filled with concern, "what happened? Who… did you have to shoot someone?"
Y/N was looking at the door, her grip tight on the gun. She glanced at the blood on her hands but remained silent for a moment, her jaw clenched.
Before she could say anything, Mina, standing just beside Izuku, cut in, her voice high-pitched with panic. “What the hell is going on?! Did you guys get attacked? Why is there blood?!”
"Did you hurt someone?" Tsuyu asked quietly, her eyes wide, trying to make sense of the scene before her.
Iida pushed his glasses up, his expression serious. "what exactly are you talking about kirishima? Who was you trying to kill?"
Todoroki, standing near the back, simply frowned, his eyes scanning Y/N’s gun, then the blood. "Are we in danger?"
The rapid-fire questions seemed to bounce off Y/N as she stood there, her breathing uneven. Shinso watched her closely, noticing how her eyes were darting back and forth, as if trying to figure out what to say.
Kirishima, standing next to Bakugou, looked as shaken as everyone else, but it was Bakugou who finally snapped.
"Shut up, all of you!" Bakugou growled, his voice harsh. "Just… just let her talk, damn it!"
Everyone fell silent, though the tension only seemed to grow heavier. Y/N, grateful for Bakugou’s outburst, opened her mouth to speak, but before any words could come out, her phone buzzed in her pocket, the sudden sound slicing through the uneasy quiet.
