Damien's POV

I watched as Joel changed into his wolf and took off into the woods. I looked at my mate and couldn't help but smile thinking of how perfect she was. "Rose are you ready to go inside?"

"Yes I think so, I feel like I just need a few drinks and then to dance the night away and then I'll be good to go."

We all headed inside to get ready for people to show up for the party, blaring music and putting out all the alcohol, thank you Colten, guess you're good for something. Rose was hanging out in the corner with Sophie looking absolutely radiant. "Rose is there anything I can get you? I can mix a pretty good whiskey and coke if you want to try it." I told her.

"Sure Damien, thank you so much!"

"Trust me it's my pleasure." I hurried to get her drink ready to help her loosen up some.

"Thank you, Damien." She took a sip and scrunched up her nose at the strong flavor. Even like that she managed to look adorable. I swear this girl is turning into my obsession. People started showing up within the next hour and the living room was full of sweaty bodies bumping and grinding on the dance floor. I asked Rose if she wanted to dance with me and she shyly said yes. I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her as close as our bodies would allow while still trying to be respectful.

"Are you ok?" I asked her.

"Yes, I am, I feel like I belong in your arms and these tingles are absolutely addicting." I stared into her eyes and couldn't resist leaning down to place a chaste kiss on her lips causing her to blush furiously.

"What was that for?" She asked

"I just had to, was that ok?" I countered.

"Yes it was more than ok, it felt like heaven."

We continued to dance some more before Brent took over and pulled her into his arms.

Brent's POV

"Hey beautiful, how are you enjoying the party?" I asked.

"Oh, Brent it's just what I needed to loosen up and have fun."

"If you need to loosen up I'll be happy to help you out anytime that you need it babe, just let me know when. We can go commit some low-grade crimes" I winked at her which earned me a grin.

We continued to sway to the music until my face ended up in the crook of her neck and I inhaled her sweet strawberry scent.

"Can I cut in?" Colten asked.

Before I could deny him, Rose answered sure. I took off towards the kitchen to check out what kind of drinks are there, a little perturbed at my time with Rose being cut short.

Colten's POV

"Hey Rose, how are you feeling with all this new info? I'm sure it's rough for you."

"It's not too bad so far but I could use another drink to help me out." I grabbed her hand and led her towards the kitchen to grab another drink. I could feel Brent and Joel glower at me, but I didn't care. I made another whiskey and coke for Rose when she asked to go somewhere more private. I took her hand and guided her to my bedroom where we sat on the bed, with only the moonlight lighting up the room.

"I know we don't know each other well but I can't help this connection that  feel. Colten are you attracted to me? I'm eighteen now. Even though you're my teacher I'm still a woman, not a girl." Rose inquired.

I sighed deeply, "yes Rose, I'm very attracted to you, everything about you. But you're my precious mate, not some woman to use and throw away. I want to take my time getting to know each other."

"I understand," she said.

"Good, so don't think my attraction is any less than the other guys, I'm just more patient." I told her.

We sat for awhile and I noticed Rose getting more confident and comfortable. She slowly moved closer and closer until her head was resting on my shoulder. We sat in my room with just the background noise of the bass thumping. God, I wanted to kiss her so bad, but everything in me was telling me to wait.

Rose's POV

Colten smelled amazing. Like really amazing. I was quickly becoming addicted to the tingles that I found were an effect of the mate bond. I gathered enough courage to lay my head on his shoulder and took in another deep breath of his scent. I could get used to this.

"Do you want to go back to the party? It is for you after all," Colten asked.

"I suppose we should, I wouldn't be surprised if another student saw me holding your hand. Oh my God! What if you get in trouble with the school!" I gasped. I would feel terrible if he lost his job because of me, we just barely met.

"Don't worry about it, sweetheart." He assured me.

I nodded my head in compliance and we both stood to head back out the the noisy living room where bodies continued to bump and grind against each other. The smell of sweat was thick in the air.

We ran into the other men and Sophie standing in a corner with hushed whispers.

"What are you guys whispering about?" I inquired.

Brent seemed to jump at the sudden question while Sophie giggled. "Don't worry about it, Rose. Trust me, if it were anything bad, I would jump all these boys in a heartbeat."

I know I haven't known Sophie long but she seemed sincere and has been nothing but welcoming, so I decided to put my trust in what she was saying and let it go. For now, anyway.

"Ok! My turn!" Sophie blurted out before grabbing my hand and leading me into the middle of the dancing crowd. "Come on girl, let's shake it til the sun comes up!"

I laughed and couldn't help but move my hips to the music with Sophie. I never had large parties for my other birthdays, so this was an entirely unique experience for me. I was thankful that I had met Sophie and the boys. I just wondered, what was in store for us? I suppose there will be judgement if I decided to get with all of them. But how do I choose just one? I hardly know any of them in the first place.

"Earth to Rose, where is your head at?" Sophie knocked on my head.

"Ouch. I was just thinking about this whole mate thing. I think the supernatural aspect is easier for me to accept than having four men. It's completely taboo. Plus, I don't really know any of them."

"Don't worry your pretty head about it." Sophie tried to assure me. She continued, "I'm sure that no one will rush you into anything. After all, you're only eighteen. You still have your whole life ahead of you. Just give it time and go with the flow. You're mates so everything will feel natural, I'm sure the answers will come with time."

I sure hope so because my mind was going a million miles an hour. I decided to give into the music and free my mind and body for a little while. We swayed to the music for hours, with each of the boys, except Colten, jumping in here and there. I danced with Joel twice, Brent and Damien three times each, and Sophie all in between. I wonder why Colten hasn't said a word to me since earlier. I haven't seen him either. I felt myself growing a bit insecure which felt silly considering we barely knew each other. Around three in the morning, the crowd had diminished and there were no stragglers. It was just us in the house.

"Man I'm exhausted," I yawned.

"Get some sleep in the guest room, Rose. I'll walk you to it." Sophie offered before grabbing my hand and leading me to a room I hadn't been in yet.

"Thanks for everything." I said as sincerely as possible.

"Thank you for being my twin flame." Sophie winked at me.

I giggled and stripped out of my clothes before putting on an oversized shirt and flopping down onto the bed. Before I could think anything else my mind was blank and I was asleep.
