I hum to myself as I saunter down the hallway leaving the stage. I smile as everyone waves and showers me with love and adoration. I can't help but remember my earlier life back in highschool. Back when I was a freshman I wasn't as beautiful as I am now. I was a little pudgy and didn't know all of the beauty tips I know now. I also wore baggy clothes and puberty hit me late. But I smile as I think back to my only true friend, he was a simple guy, but his heart really shined.
As I enter my dressing room I change into Grey's old sweatpants I still have, I take off my bra, and put on Grey's old Baseball jersey. "I miss you Grey. You were the man of my dreams and I never saw it." I say as I look at myself in the mirror. He helped me push myself to the fullest, helped me achieve my dreams, and defended me from criticism. Everyone sees me as some strong diva who wants the world to bow at my feet. But really I'm just a simple woman who wants a good partner. I grab my phone and open up my voicemail to the last one Grey sent.
"Hey Eve! Just saw you girls hit number one on the charts! I'm so proud of you!" His voice says excitedly over the phone. "Man I remember you were so scared about performing, it's so good to see you succeed!" He says which makes me smile. "Hey...if you get a chance soon. I'd like to talk to you and if possible meet up." He says and I frown as the part I hate the most comes up. "Who am I kidding... I'm sorry for bothering you...and for whatever I did to make you mad at me." He says softly as it goes dead. I sigh and try to call his number like I always do when I listen to this.
"The number you have dialed is no longer in service." The voice message says as it cuts my call.
"What happened to you Grey?" I ask softly as I hear a knock on my door. "Come in." I say and look as Ahri walks in.

"Hey Evelynn. I could feel your emotions in my room. What are you wearing?" She asks and I smile at her.
"Some old things from my past." I say and she comes to sit down in a chair. I sit across from her and she smiles at me.
"Oh? Are you about to unveil the mystery origins that is Evelynn?" She asks and I roll my eyes.
"These are an old friend of mine named Grey. He pushed me to do this but now I lost him. I hope it's not for good though." I say as I pull my legs into the chair. "I was so busy when we first agreed to make KDA, I ignored our friendship, and eventually lost contact with him. God I'm so stupid." I say as my lashers wrap around me.
"Don't say that. How about I look into this for you? You just relax and focus on how you're going to apologize to him." Ahri says and gets up.
"You'd do that for me?" I ask and she smiles.
"We're Best Friends Evelynn. We'd all do that for each other." She says and leaves. I sigh softly as I look at my lock screen which is the time Grey and I watched the nightly train.
