-Grey POV-

I walk back to the ladies and my children with a handful of drinks. I look to see Kai'sa dancing with Liliana as Evelynn holds Zane. "Hey Buddy. I got you your favorite." I say and hand him his juice.

"Yay! Thank you Papa!" Zane says as I hand him his grape juice. I hand the ladies some water, and Evelynn a Root Beer.

"You remember my favorite drink?" Evelynn asks as I take Zane from her.

"Kind of hard to forget when you drank it all the time. I was worried it was beneath you now." I say and she frowns.

"No. It's perfect." She says and I smile as Kai'sa and Liliana walk out. Liliana looks so tired but is beaming with joy.

"How was it Liliana?" I ask and kneel down in front of her.

"It was so much fun Papa! Kai'sa says she'll help me get as good as her!" She cheers as she runs up and hugs me tightly. Zane and I hug her back and I hand Kai'sa a water.

"Thank you." She says as I hand Liliana an orange juice.

"No worries." I say and decide to not call her out for acting like Liliana's Mom. I get up and stretch slightly earning a few pops.

"You alright Papa?" Zane asks and I smile.

"Yeah Buddy. Your Papa is just getting old." I say and both of them frown. "Come on. It's time for you to get to baseball practice." I say and they both smile. They quickly get their stuff and we walk out to the truck. I start the truck as Evelynn gets in the passenger seat. I ignore her as I drive us to the fields. The kids talk to Evelynn with excitement and she eagerly responds to them.

"Grey." Evelynn says and I glance at her. She smiles at me like she did when we were younger. "Zane asked if we could get Ice Cream after his practice." She says and I smile.

"Okay Buddy. But just a little one, I don't want you two spoiling your lunch or dinner." I say and he smiles.

"Okay Papa." Both of my kids say which makes me smile.

"Hey Grey." Evelynn says softly and I hum over the Daughtry song. I blush brightly as I feel her kiss my cheek gently.

"Ew! Eve kissed Papa!" Zane says loudly.

"That's my Papa!" Liliana yells which makes Evelynn laugh melodically.

"Can't you two share with me and my friends?" She asks sweetly which makes me shake my head slightly.

"Okay. But he's OUR Papa first." Liliana says and crosses her arms.

"Agreed. You two will always come first." Evelynn says which makes me smile. But this only makes my feelings more conflicted. My heart is leaping for joy as this was an intimate conversation, but my head keeps reminding me that she abandoned me.

"Hey Kids. Do you two want to visit Grandpa's Grave tomorrow?" I ask and they frown.

"Is Grandma going to be there with our Aunties?" Zane asks and I sigh.

"Yes as it's coming up on that day." I say and they cross their arms.

"No! We don't want you going either Papa! Because Grandma and Aunties are nothing but bullies to you!" Zane says and Liliana nods quickly.

"Bullies?" Evelynn asks innocently but I know what we talked about last night.

"Yeah! They say mean things to Papa and then he tries to act big and strong! But we know Papa is hurting because of them!" Liliana says and I look at her in the rearview mirror.
