WARNING: THIS CHAPTER HAS IMPLIED VIOLENCE, AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF ANGST!!!! OOPSIEZ

FIREBALL'S POV 🔥:

Beer Keg and I haven't talked since the fight 2 weeks ago. I've spent a lot more time around Pound since then and he's help me recover from my injuries. How can one be so adorable, helpful, loving, sweet, and silly at the same time? I really hit the jackpot with this one..heh. I've also taken a bit of time to work on myself and once college is over, Pound has convinced me to get a therapist. I'll admit, I'm not too thrilled about it, considering my parents forced me to get a therapist, but if it makes Pound happy, I'll do it.

I got out of class today and went to my dorm like usual. Pound was waiting for me when I arrived.

"Hey, Fireball!" Pound greeted me at the door.

"Hey, Pound." I replied with a smile.

"How are you?"

"Eh, fine I guess. Can't get much better than that considering I just got out of class."

"Yeah, I get that. Hey! We should head to the park together! I heard they built a new fountain there a few days ago, and I wanna check it out."

"Alright, I'll take ya. But don't get me too close to the water. I'll die."

"I know! I know! Come on!"

He grabbed my hand and I picked up my car keys. We walked out our room and got in my car. I turned the keys in the ignition and drove off.

POUND'S POV 🪙:

We sat in silence for a bit before I sparked a conversation.

"Do you ever wonder what YoyleLand looks like?" I asked, turning to look at Fireball.

"Pfft! C'mon, Pound! YoyleLand isn't real. It's just a silly myth." He corrected with a chuckle.

"If that's true, then where do Yoyleberries come from? I mean, you have had Yoylecake before, right?"

"1. They're just modified Blueberries and 2. No. No I have not. I heard it turns you into metal or something."

"Oh. Well I have, and it does."

"Gives me much less of a reason to eat it then."

"Ah. I see."

We sat in silence once more, just kinda thinking of what to say. Eventually, we reached the park.

"We're here." Fireball told me, turning off the car.

"Great!" I exclaimed and opened my door, getting out of the car shortly after, Fireball following suit.

We took each other's hand and started walking around. I admired the scenery, despite the mostly dead trees except for a few pretty evergreens sitting around. Soon, we noticed the fountain.

"Woah. This thing looks cooler than I expected." Fireball admired, taking a few steps closer to it.

"I know, right. It looks so pretty!" I agreed, following him.

The fountain wasn't too big or extravagant. It was an opaque white, a bit ceramic and stoney in texture, with 3 water levels and the top of the fountain being shaped like a star, though it still looked prettier than a lot of fountains I've seen before.

"It's a shame I can't get too close to it, otherwise the water will hit me and I'll die." Fireball sighed.

"It's okay, Fireball. You don't need to be too close to look at it anyways." I commented.

He chuckled a bit and then said, "Yeah, I guess you're right."

We stood there for a few moments before continuing to walk. I continued to take in the landscape as we went, carefully analyzing everything. Fireball appeared to take notice of this.

"You look really focused on this park. Are you gonna make an essay on it or something?" He teased with a silly smile.

"Haha, very funny. I just think the park is nice to look at is all." I replied.

"Ah, I see." He said, "I guess you're right."

We stood in the same spot for a bit, just looking into the distance.

"Wanna head back to campus now?" Fireball asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure, we can head back." I responded.

We walked back to FB's car and got back in. He started it once again and we drove off.

"Thanks for suggested we head there, it was pretty nice." Fireball smiled.

"Eh, don't sweat it. I just thought it might be nice to go somewhere for a bit." I replied.

"Yeah, I get that."

He continued driving, sitting in silence for a bit. He looked over to me and smiled. I smiled back and looked back at the road. That's when-

"DUDE, LOOK OUT!"

"Huh?"

*CRASH*

....

Silence.

"...Fireball..?"

(oh shit I'm evil now oopsies)
