The paddock was buzzing with excitement. Chris stood nervously outside the Williams motorhome, microphone in hand, waiting for her next interview. This one wasn't like the others—this time, she was going to interview Franco. Officially. On live broadcast.

She knew she had to be professional, but the idea of interviewing her boyfriend, whom she shared every intimate part of her life with, felt surreal. She was determined to keep things light and focused on racing, but Franco being Franco, she had a nagging suspicion he would make things unpredictable.

When Franco finally arrived, the cameras zoomed in on him as he approached Chris. He was in his racing suit, a playful smile tugging at his lips, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Hello, Franco," Chris greeted, adjusting her stance and lifting the microphone toward him. "Thank you for joining us. Let's talk about qualifying—how did it feel out there today?"

Franco's grin widened as he glanced at her, completely ignoring the cameras. "I feel great," he said with an exaggerated shrug, eyes twinkling. "But, you know, it feels even better seeing my favorite person interviewing me."

Chris's cheeks heated, but she held her composure. "Well, the audience isn't here for that," she replied, narrowing her eyes playfully. "They're here to hear about your performance on the track."

Franco leaned closer, subtly brushing his hand against hers. "Performance, huh? You know all about my... performance, cariño."

The crew behind the cameras chuckled, and Chris shot Franco a warning look, though she couldn't stop herself from smiling. "Franco, focus," she whispered under her breath, trying to redirect him back to the topic.

"Right, right," Franco said with mock seriousness, running a hand through his tousled hair. "So, the car felt good today. I think we've found a good rhythm for the weekend, but it's a tough grid. Every lap matters, but we're feeling confident."

Chris nodded, keeping things smooth. "And what are your expectations for the race tomorrow? Points? Maybe a podium?"

Franco tilted his head thoughtfully. "You know, I could tell you that I'm focused on strategy and tire management..." He paused dramatically, leaning into the microphone. "But honestly? The real victory is having you here with me."

Chris's breath hitched, her heart pounding in her chest. The camera crew exchanged amused glances, sensing that this interview was headed in a very unexpected direction.

"Franco..." she began, trying to keep things on track, but Franco had already made up his mind.

"No, let me say this," he interrupted gently, his eyes locking onto hers. "This last year has been the most incredible of my life, and it's not because of racing. It's because of you. Every moment with you, whether we're traveling, working, or just being us—it's all I ever wanted. And I just want to say it, here and now, for everyone to hear... I love you, Chris. I love you more than anything."

The air in the paddock seemed to shift as Franco's words echoed through the microphones. Chris's eyes welled up with emotion, her usual cool demeanor slipping away as a tear rolled down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away, overwhelmed but utterly in love.

The camera crew stayed silent for a beat, stunned by the unexpected intimacy of the moment. And then, as if on cue, the producers in the studio cut back to the commentators, all visibly stunned and gushing over what had just unfolded.

Chris laughed softly, shaking her head as she looked at Franco. "You just had to do that in front of the world, didn't you?"

Franco smirked, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "They deserved to know."

Without thinking twice, Chris threw professionalism to the wind and reached up to plant a soft kiss on his lips, earning a cheer from the surrounding crew.

As they pulled apart, Franco grinned. "Best interview I've ever given."

Chris smiled through her tears. "Best interview I've ever done."

Later that day, the internet exploded with clips of the moment. Fans dubbed it "the most romantic paddock interview in F1 history," and the couple quickly became the talk of the weekend. But all that mattered to Chris was that, for the first time in a long while, they had shared a moment of pure love—no distractions, no pretense—just them.
