A gift from the writer to all of you showing Franco's POV from the first time he saw our Chris.

____

It was Monaco, the most glamorous weekend of the Formula 1 calendar. The energy in the paddock was electric, with fans crammed into every corner, cameras flashing, and journalists buzzing around like bees in a hive. But amidst all the noise and chaos, my attention was completely elsewhere.

I first saw her standing by the Williams garage, microphone in hand, effortlessly professional as she prepped for an interview with one of the other drivers. I'd been there for a while, checking in with the team, but I found myself completely distracted by the woman in front of me. Chris.

Her name rolled off the tongue easily, though I didn't know it at the time. All I knew at that moment was how stunning she looked. Dark, long black hair cascaded down her back, sleek and smooth, contrasting against her olive, soft skin. She wasn't trying to stand out, that much was clear, but she had an air about her that made it impossible not to notice. Every move, every flick of her hair, seemed unintentional but effortlessly sexy.

I leaned against the wall, just out of sight, watching as she asked one of the Red Bull drivers a question. Her voice was smooth and confident, yet there was a certain softness to it that I hadn't expected. I couldn't stop staring. It was almost as if everything in the paddock blurred around her. My mind didn't register the other journalists, the fans, the crew. Only her.

My gaze traveled down the length of her body, taking in every detail. The way her fitted shirt hugged her curves, the slim waist that flared out into hips that were impossible not to admire.

And her legs, long and toned beneath the perfectly tailored pants. She wasn't dressed to be overtly sexy, but the way she carried herself... was something else. She had this quiet confidence, this grace that made her stand out from everyone else around.

I knew I was staring, but I couldn't help it. She was magnetic, and I was drawn in, helpless to look away.

The way she moved, the way her lips curved into a slight smile as she listened to the drivers' answers, the way she tilted her head when she focused. It was all driving me crazy, and she didn't even know it. She wasn't like the women who normally hung around the paddock, trying to catch the eye of a driver. She didn't seem to care about that. She was here to work, but I could tell there was so much more behind that calm, professional demeanor.

I watched her for minutes, completely captivated, as she moved from one driver to the next, always the picture of composure. But I could see the fire beneath it all—the way her eyes sparked with intelligence and wit. It was all in the way she carried herself, the subtle confidence that made her even more attractive.

When she finally glanced my way, just for a brief second, it felt like a punch to the gut. Her dark eyes locked on mine for the briefest of moments, and I felt something electric shoot through me. I wasn't even close to her, but I could feel the pull between us. And I was sure she felt it too, even if she quickly looked away.

I stayed there, watching her finish her interviews, unable to take my eyes off her as she moved through the paddock. I had no idea how I was going to approach her or what I'd say, but I knew I had to. There was no way I was leaving Monaco without talking to her, without knowing more about the woman who had captured my attention so completely.

It wasn't just her beauty, though that was undeniable. It was something more, something in the way she didn't try to be noticed, in the way she seemed comfortable in her skin. It intrigued me and made me want to know her and understand her.

And when our paths finally crossed for that interview, when I looked into her eyes as she asked me her first question, I knew there was no turning back. She had me, even if she didn't realize it yet.

From that moment on, all I could think about was Chris.
